Stress relief

Getting stressed out is a very common phenomenon these days. Sitting in front of the computer and making your brain work for almost around ten hours a day is one of the best examples of a hectic lifestyle. What is called as a white collar job is much more difficult to handle as compared to a black collar job. But, how do you relieve yourself of all this stress.

Scientists have proved that sleep is not sufficient to relieve your mind of the stress that it is subjected to in your everyday life. Sleep may bring relief to your body, but your eyes and mind will not be able to bear the stress that they are subjected to. You need something more to shoo your stress away. But, what is this something which can evacuate your stress?

You need to absorb nature’s energy in order to relieve the stress which is pressurizing your mind. And the best way to absorb this energy is to go into meditation. But, with so many meditation techniques it is impossible to find the best one around. Some people take to Pranayama and yet others stick on with Yogasanas to relieve their stress. But of the three techniques, meditation is the most effective one. I have tried all the above methods and I know which solution works the best for relieving one’s stress. If you do not know me, let me tell you something about myself. Everyday I spend a minimum of seven to ten hours on the internet and have not met Mr.Spectacles till today! I read a lot of ebooks on the computer and use one of the most outdated LCD monitors on my computer. Some of you might have seen a few documentaries made by scientists regarding astral bodies and meditation for stress relief which are half true and half false.

It is true that meditation can relieve your mind of its stress. But there is a particular procedure for going into meditation. You cannot meditate. Meditation is the state where your mind is resting. When the mind rests it gets relief form its stress. And, the best meditating technique that I have seen so far is Sahaja Yoga meditation. You might have attended a few stress relief seminars from other Yoga maestros. But the minus point of the other Yoga’s is that they demand both time and money. Whereas, in Sahaja Yoga you need not sacrifice any of these things in order to relieve yourself of your stress. To be more specific Sahaja Yoga is a technique of getting into the state of meditation which demands only twenty minutes of time in your daily schedule. Ten minutes of meditation in the morning and ten minutes of mediation in the evening and your stress will go out of the doors and windows of your house. And on top of this I ensure you a sound sleep if you dip your feet in a trough of water containing salt water while you go into meditation at night before going to sleep. This will, must and should reduce your stress. But it requires one thing which is really very important: The photograph of H.H. Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi.

It has been scientifically proved that when a patient touches the photograph of H.H. Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi, the health statistics revealed that the patient was getting cured every moment she touched H.H. Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi’s photograph. It has also been proved that an infinite amount of energy flows out of H.H. Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi’s photograph. Sensors detecting energy were placed inside a box in which H.H. Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi’s photograph was placed. The measuring instrument always reached the farthest value it could ever reach. The scale was increased every time the indicator shot across the maximum limit, and every time the limit of the measuring instrument was increased the needle did not stop to show a particular value. The results were so amazing that recently a group of scientists is working on projecting the photograph of H.H. Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi on the earth using a satellite system.

The best part about Sahaja Yoga stress relief meditation is that it is free and does not ask for much time. Many seekers have got their self-realization in Sahaja Yoga and many others are joining Sahaja Yoga across all the corners of the world. Self-realization is the very first thing that you get through Sahaja Yoga. Getting relieved of stress through Sahaja Yoga is very easy and many CEO’s are practicing it today in order to decrease their stress levels. A manager practicing Sahaja Yoga is found to be tem times more patient than the one who is practicing the other stress reduction procedures. Even people following Sudarshana Kriya were found to be loosing their patience when subjected to tasks which stress the mind to its extreme limits. Even I used to follow Sudarshana Kriya before. But I lost both, money and time and gained very little out of it. It asks for a minimum of one hour from your daily schedule and seems very effective. But, I used to lose my cool very quickly and throw tantrums at everybody when subjected to immense stresses. When I came to Sahaja Yoga the first thing that I gained was control over my anger. It is anger which makes your mind feel that that you are doing a lot of work and that you are getting extremely stressed under the pressure of the work you are subjected to. But since I came to Sahaja Yoga I did not even feel that I was working. The reason was because my ego was sucked out. When we lose our ego we do not feel that we are doing any work. The reason is because when you lose your ego you miss the “I”, which was doing the work till now. And how can you get stressed when you do no work at all. H.H. Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi says that a Sahaja Yogi enters the dimension of Akarma, i.e. even if he does a lot of work he never feels as if he is doing something! And by far, this is the best way of relieving yourself of your stress. Actually you get devoid of stress when you enter into the dimensions of a Sahaja Yogi. The point is, if you are not working at all, how can you get stressed?

There are a lot of other benefits that you get from Sahaj Yoga. Stress relief is just one benefit. If you are addicted to alcohol, tobacco or even sex, you can be freed from your habits within a day. But it requires a little bit of faith. There are three states of mind: ego, super-ego and completely balanced state. A person who feels guilty all the time and thinks too much about the past, is in the super-ego state. The one who thinks too much about the future and leads a very hectic lifestyle is in the state of ego. A person who does not think and stays in the present tense is a balanced person. All the imbalances in our life are caused due to the ego and super-ego states. In the balanced state one does not feel any pressure or stress as he does not think about his past or his future. And a mind which does not think cannot be subjected to stress. For more information on Sahaja Yoga you may log-on to www.sahajayoga.org. It is a free website and is very easy to follow. The first thing you need to do is get your self-realization. And then you need to find out if there is a Sahaja Yoga center at the place where you live. Sudarshana Hriya might be effective, but, from my experience Sahaja Yoga is ten times more effective than it and takes very little time to relieve your stress. Do not forget to go to www.sahajayoga.org and get your realization. You will feel very fresh and energetic the very moment you do the exercise given in it. Have a nice day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Sahaja yoga is by far the best method to reduce stress. The other meditations employ traataka where you have to concentrate on a particular spot on a chart which i found gave me headaches and also increased my stress levels. In sahaja yoga you meditate with closed eyes. This was found to reduce my eye stresses much effectively. And also it is free. This marks that the seekers in the institution do not meditate and conduct meditation classes to reap money from the followers. There have been instances where blind people got their eyes while the founder of sahaja yoga h.h. Shri Mataji war addressing the seekers. As i have seen this incident happening right in front of my eyes i cannot deny the fact that She has healing properties which help a lot in stress relief processes.

  3. Thank you Akshay. I did go to the Sahaja Yoga centre to get relief from stress as you suggested. I went there just after finishing my office work and was really very stressed out. I was so much stressed that i felt it was a better option to got to home and take rest. But i don't know why, even after being killed by stress i just entered the hall. The hall was filled with the echo of mantras when i went in. The Aarti was over and a yogini came and spoke to me. I told her about my stress levels. She just sat behind me and raised my Kundalini. The feeling of Cool Breeze running behind my spine was so amazing that i forgot about my stress for a few minutes. After getting my realization i came to home and went through your article on Stress relief again and found that my eyes which were hurting as if filled with chilly powder were now soothed and were feeling much better after losing the stresses they were subjected to. Thank you for this beautiful. I will never forget the auspicious day when i read your post and the time when i got my self-realization. I got both stress relief and my self realization because of you. Thank you so much. Even looking at H.H.Shri Mataji's photograph makes me feel a lot better and stress relieved. Thanks a lot.
