Love Letter

Read this exciting story about a village boy who had once written a love letter to his favorite girl.

Shantu was in tenth standard when a girl as fair as snow stole his heart like a Dhoom thief. Poor Shantu had never had such experiences ever before. He knew that he was in love. He wondered how he could express his love to his beloved one. Sitting on an altar in his house he switched on the television. His fingers started moving around the buttons of the remote control to search for an interesting programme. While browsing through the channels he heard the all time favorite “Yeh Mera Prem Patra Padhkar” song. The song finished and Shantu changed the channel to see if there was any romantic movie coming. Wherever he landed he saw people writing love letters in order to court their girl. And it was now that Shantu made up his mind to write a love letter to his dearest Soumya. Shantu was anyhow good in language and hence removed a beautiful sheet of paper and decorated it with the words that flew out of his heart. The wordings were as given below:

O dearest Souwmya,

I fell in love with you the moment I saw you.

My heart beats louder and louder the more I think about you.

Your beautiful eyes have stolen my nights.

You walk so eloquently that even a cat might envy your style.

The moment I hear you talking I remember the cuckoo’s concerts.

As fair as a swan you come in my dreams and dance like the peacock ever could.

Your peaceful eyes remind me of the God Of Love.

The shine in your eyes reminds me of the twinkling stars that decorate the night.

O dearest Sowmya give me some space in your loving heart and I shall satisfy all your needs as long as I live on this beautiful earth.
Thanking You.
Yours lovingly,
Shantu

Shantu tuned and fine tuned the love letter till it ended up as shown above. He was restless the whole night after writing this love letter. He was wondering about the reaction Sowmya would show upon reading this letter. He kept the letter close to his heart the whole night. He hardly slept for a few hours that night.

The scream of a rooster woke Shantu. He got up and got ready to go to school. Every now and then the love letter would tease his mind. His hands were shaking. He was trembling with fear thinking about the effect that his love letter would have on Sowmya. When asked about the reason for his trembling hands, Shantu lied saying that he was feeling as if the weather was cold. Shantu’s mother called him to have his breakfast. Shantu folded his love letter properly and kept it on the dining table and covered it with his hand kerchief. He ate whatever was served, took his hankie and left for school.

Even at the school Shantu was quite tensed thinking about Sowmya’s reaction when she would see his love letter. Shantu waited impatiently for the school bell to ring. As it was Saturday there would be a half day schedule. The bell rang and Shantu put his hand into the pocket to remove his love letter. To his utter surprise the letter was missing! He wondered if it fell while he removed his hankie. He searched the whole classroom but could not find it. Disappointed, he went back to his home. Shantu,s father was sitting in the hall. He told Shantu to get fresh. After washing himself, Shantu entered the hall. His father told him to take a pen and a paper and write down a few words that he would dictate. Shantu was clueless as to what was happening. He wondered if his father got the love letter he had written. But in that case he would have received series of thrashing the moment he entered the house. Taking dictation was not a new thing to Shantu. His father would take this exercise now and then in order to increase his vocabulary and improve his handwriting. Clueless Shantu sat down and wrote whatever was said. Slowly slowly a few familiar words started coming up: swan, stars, eyes. Shantu understood the matter and started changing his hand writing. But what about the previous words? Shantu,s father purposefully took a dictation test in order to see if the love letter was written by his son or not. The best way of checking this was by matching the two handwritings. And now the father was convinced that it was his son who had written the love letter. Shantu squealed a thousand times that day. He got bruises all over his legs. His father had thrashed him with a cable wire all day long.

Two months later new year arrived. By now Sowmya had come to know that Shantu loved her. She decided to tell her opinion to him indirectly and hence went to him and said ‘Happy New Year’ dear brother. It indeed was a happy new year to Shantu. He stopped thinking about the girl and started concentrating on his studies.

And thus a love letter which was written for a girl ended up into the father’s hand. Today Shantu and his father laugh like anything when they remember that accident. The moral of the story is: never write your love letter in your original handwriting. Even if you do so do not forget to change your handwriting when your father takes your dictation test. Have a nice day!!!!!!!!!

Technology: How does a keyboard work?

We use the keyboard almost every day in our life but does anybody know how it actually works?

A standard keyboard consists of a small processor and a simple circuit which carries the information to your system. A large part of the keyboard is occupied by the key matrix, which is nothing but a conducting grid whch is placed beneath the keys of your keyboard. The basic principle of operation of the keyboard is the same as that of the switch.

When the switch is closed a small amount of current flows through the circuit. The processor now detects this current. Now the processor tracks the location of the origin of the signal in the grid. This location is compared on the key matrix to the character map in its ROM. The character map is nothing but a table which tells the processor the character which is to be taken as an input when a particular key on the keyboard is pressed. It also tells the processor about the exact position of each key.

For example, if the ‘shift’ key as well as ‘q’ key are pressed together, the character map tells the processor to accept capital letter ‘Q’ as the input. Whereas, if only ‘q’ key is pressed, the character map tells the processor to take small letter ‘q’ as the input.

Capacitive switch technology: Various switch technologies are used in different types of keyboards. The most common technology which is used on a wider scale is the capacitive switch technology. It is considered to be non-mechanical since the switches do not complete the circuit here as in the previous resistive technology case. In a capacitive switch, current flows constantly hrough all parts of the key matrix.

Each key has a spring and a tiny plate attached to the bottom. When a key is pressed, the two plates come close to each other. Due to the variation in the distance between the two plates, a small change in capacitance takes place, which in turn changes the current flowing through the key matrix. The processor in the keyboard now detects this change and acknowledges it as a key press for that particular location to the computer. Though capacitive switch keyboards are quite expensive, they have a record to have survived the race longer than the keyboards made from other technologies.

Keep tuned till I come back with more such information for you. Till then good bye and have a nice day!!!!!!!

Technical Magazines Reviews

We all like to read technical magazines but are confused on which one to buy and which one to leave. Looking at the plethora of choices the magazines provide at different price tags really renders us clueless as to which among them is the best. The following article will give you a review of the three leading technology magazines of India.

PC Quest: This magazine is intended more towards the managing professionals of the IT sector. It is also a good magazine to refer to if you are looking forward to finding your way into the managing sector of the leading IT industries. It will tell you all about the necessary skills required to get recruited into the leading software as well as hardware industries present worldwide. This is the best option for a student studying either BBM or MBA. It is also your cup of tea if you are working as a manager in any IT industry. It usually comes up with topics like IT Team management, Team strategies, Outsourcing, e-Governance, etc. If you are searching for a magazine packed with good information regarding software, hardware, applications and a CD equipped with lots of softwares and Games, this is definitely not your cup of tea. The reviews given on different softwares/ hardwares is quite appreciable. But again it gives a long textual information which the readers might not find to be so interesting. it also forgets to summarize things properly at the end, thus leaving the reader confused. But the costs are quite low. It shall be available at prices ranging between Rs 100 to Rs 125. It did not come with any supplement when I subscribed it. It comes with a CD and a Dual layer DVD of 8.5 GB space which is equipped with softwares and a few Games. The CD’s and DVD’s have a very bad impression as they do not run like normal CD’s or DVD’s and are confusing enough for the newbies to stop buying it from the very next time. Overall it is a real treat for the Management students and corporates as well as recruiters. Buy this only if you are a real reader who is more serious with jobs and less serious with the content in the discs.
CHIP: Things got quite confusing when people at CHIP changed the name of their magazine from Digit to CHIP. This also shuffled a few users from one magazine to the other. CHIP is more about experimentations with softwares and hardwares. It tells you a few tips and tricks. Has a Dr.CHIP who tells you about the various things you can do to correct the faulty operations of certain softwares and harwares in your PC. A separate section for the newly launched products. This is a magazine prepared by the expert hands. The technical reviews are just great. The summaries given just blew my head off. Everything has been done very neatly and perfectly in this technical masterpiece. It also gives you good game reviews and also a few Hands On procedure for playing around with the settings of your PC. It sometimes comes with a Free Supplement. It will give you a 8.5 GB DVD which is equipped with a few good ebooks sometimes. It is also reasonably rated at Rs 125. The quality of the given content is just awesome. The interface used in the discs is also at its best. After all, it is created by well trained experienced brains, isn’t it?
Digit: the only magazine which can challenge every other magazine in the market is probably Digit. If you have 150-200 bucks to piss out on a technology magazine go for Digit. You will get everything which CHIP gives you along with a special Fast Track with every issue. The rate is absolutely reasonable. There are a few flaws no doubt but they are not major ones. Digit best buy products are 100% satisfactory. Excellent testing! Excellent design! Good interface! Two dual layer DVD’s each filled with 8.5 GB of important softwares, games, videos and a lot more. Overall this is a magazine which has decided to steal the heart of anyone who even gives a look at it. No need of hours of downloads for keeping in touch with the latest version of your favourite media player. This single magazine has it all and can be recommended to anybody with blind eyes. The only minus point of this magazine would be its higher cost. But the content provided is just worth it. There are special subscription offers. So watch out for an offer which will suit you the best. Overall I would say that digit is a step further than CHIP because of its content superiority in terms of quantity. As far as the quality is concerned both the magazines will share the same slot.
Have a nice day!!!!!!!!!!!

The Oscillating Positions Of Great Sportsmen

Here is an article which lists some recent instances of superb ace athletes seeing big misfortunes in their careers.

1. Pole-vault:

Yelena Isinbayeva: A Russian pole-vaulter and a two time Olympic gold medalist who is renowned to have broken the world record 26 times is said to be the first woman to have cleared the 5m barrier. But this ace performer was let down consecutively two times by Poland’s Anna Rogowska at crystal palace in London as also at Berlin. This ended the six-year winning streak of Yelena. Now this queen sportswoman is challenged again and is found to be in a strange terrain.

2. Golf:

Tiger Woods: Y E Yang, a sportsman from South Korea brought Napoleon Bonaparte’s “nothing is impossible” theory to the test. Tiger Woods, one of the finest Golf players lost it to this unheralded Korean thus contradicting his own history. Yang overcame a two stroke disadvantage and sent in a 210 yard approach to within 10 feet of the cup at the eighteenth in order to birdie for 70 and clutch the silverware. The ace golfer had missed the cut at the British open too! This is what sports is all about-witnessing the power of the upcoming professionals.

3. Cricket:

Michael Hussey: A couple of seasons ago he was considered to be a superman personified with obscene averages in all forms of cricket. The Mr. Cricket title given to him was apt. but while he scored a handsome sum of 591 runs at an average of 73.87 from six matches in the 2007-2008 season, he eked out only 146 runs from 12 tests at an average of 34 in 2008-2009. All this made the great sportsman- Mr. Cricket anything but extraordinary in the vision of the cricket crazy audience.

4. Tennis:

Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal: The world was convinced that Pete Sampras’s record of 14 Grand Slam titles would not be overwhelmed at least for a few decades. But, where he stopped, Roger Federer started. Finishing as number two by 2003 end, the ace sportsman started his historic run, winning three out of four Grand Slams in 2004, 2006 and 2007. Though he has never beaten sporty Rafael Nadal at the French open, he continued his supremacy and reached a total of 13 slams in the blink of an eye. Then his fortunes took different turns in the different directions as Nadal stretched him to the limits. Federer surrendered his five year reign at SW19 and number one ranking in 2008. A few critics, meanwhile, predicted the beginning of Federer’s end. Amidst concern over his injury-prone style of play, Nadal was set to become the next niche tennis player. But an unheralded Robin Soderling knocked him out of the French open. This handed Federer his elusive title and he retained his numero uno status as Nadal struggled with injuries. First Federer looked like superman, then Nadal, but challenges like Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic have intermittently grounded both.

Technology Behind A LCD/TFT Monitor

A majority of the computer monitors in use are based on the liquid crystal technology today. Liquid crystals inside the screen are the secret behind the new, sleek flat monitors of today. Thus the name Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) monitors. These crystals play around with the properties of light to produce the picture on the screen. Traditionally developed for the notebook computers, owing to their small size and picture quality, these monitors have caught on with the desktop users too.

Working: The LCD comprises liquid crystals sandwiched between two finely grooved plastic surfaces. The grooves on one plastic surface are perpendicular to the grooves on the other. Enclosed in these plastic sheets is a special liquid made of rod shaped nematic molecules. These nematic molecules get aligned in the grooves of the plastic sheet and polarize the light passing through them.

When the light is polarized, the vibration of light is restricted only to one plane: i.e. either the vertical plane or the horizontal plane. The plastic sheets act as polarizing filters and allow light of only one wavelength to pass through them.

A second polarizing filter with lines arranged perpendicular to the first would therefore totally block this already polarized light. Light will pass through the second polarizer only if its lines were exactly parallel to the first one. However as it is not so, the orientation of the light has to be twisted by 90 degrees. And this is where the liquid crystals play their role. They twist the light by 90 degrees, thus allowing it to pass through the second filter. When an electric current is applied across these liquid crystals, the molecules get vertically realigned allowing the light to pass though, without twisting them. This will now block the light in the second filter. Thus if a voltage is present, the light will be blocked and vice-versa.

The level to which the crystals will polarize the light depends upon the voltage which is applied to them. In order to get an LCD display it is mandatory to supply current to selected areas on the screen. There are two types of LCD displays: DSTN displays and TFT displays.

DSTN displays: A normal passive matrix LCD or DSTN consists of a number of layers. The first layer is a sheet of glass coated with a transparent metal oxide. This operates as a grid of row and column electrodes through which the voltage required to activate the screen element passes. A polymer with a number of parallel grooves running across it is applied above this grid of electrodes. The grooves align the liquid crystal molecules in the appropriate direction. They also provide a base on which the crystal molecules are attached. Called the alignment layer, the latter is repeated on another glass plate. Spacer beads are placed between the two glass plates to maintain an uniform distance between the sheets.

Polarizing multicolored layers are applied to the outermost surfaces of each glass sheet to match the orientation of the alignment layers. A backlight is added in the form of cold-cathode fluorescent tubes mounted along the top and the bottom edges of the panel. Light originating from these is distributed across the panel using a plastic light guide or prism. The image that we see on the screen results from the interplay of light and voltage as the light traverses these different layers and is polarized. When there is no power across the LCD panel, the rear filter vertically polarizes backlight, which is refracted by the liquid crystal. Finally the light emerges from the horizontally polarized filter at the front. Upon applying voltage, the crystal is realigned and the light is blocked, thereby producing a dark pixel. Color LCD displays simply use additional red, green and blue colored filters over three separate LCD elements to create a single multicolored pixel.

Since the response time is very slow, these displays cannot keep up with the radically changing screen content such as video, which often appears smeared. Moreover, passive matrix driving causes ghosting, an effect where areas of ‘on’ pixels cause a shadow on the ‘off’ pixels in the same rows and columns.

TFT displays: In Thin Film Transistor (TFT) technology, every pixel holds a transistor. A small current is sent to the transistor through the horizontal and vertical grid, which is amplified on the screen. The pixel is switched on and the LCD panel is activated. There is one transistor for each color of each pixel.

When current traverses the grid, the pixel can be turned on and off faster, thereby increasing refresh rates in the display. While DSTN pixels are updated about 24 times a second, TFT pixels refresh about ten times faster. Thus increased speed translates into faster response. Which in turn means that your mouse pointer is not going to disappear if it is moved suddenly across the screen.

Because of the transistors, the TFT screens can be made much thinner than the DSTN screens. Also the refresh rates of TFT’s are much higher and approach those of CRT’s as the voltage runs about ten times faster on a TFT than on a DSTN screen.

However, TFT design requires fabrication of one transistor for each pixel. Putting those transistors in place requires a combination of the LCD and semiconductor manufacturing processes. To get around this problem, double scan passive displays were developed, where the screen is scanned twice in the time that it was scanned once. This is done by dividing the screen horizontally into two halves, with both the halves being scanned at the same time. This allows faster refresh rates and does away with extra brightness.

That's all about the latest technology used in LCD/TFT monitors.

Technology From Mobiles To Smart Phones

Twenty first century has come up with a huge number of new gadgets. Of these the real killer gadgets were the smart phones. Read on to know about these killer gadgets which instill the latest cutting edge technology in them.

A few years earlier when the mobile phone had found its way into the market, only a few middle class people and all the Richie Riches could afford it. Then, a man with a mobile signified his prestige with his unique gadget. But today even the poorest of poor can afford to buy a mobile phone. But with the change in trends these gadgets have also changed a lot. The mobile phone which was merely a squeezed cordless phone was used only for communication purposes once upon a time. But today it comes with all the functionalities of a PMP, Radio, Television, Digital Camera, Computer and the Modem. The materialists wooed the mobile companies to come up with gadgets which could perform a plethora of functions and would be available at affordable prices. And the mobile phone companies also did not hold themselves back. They competed with each other at every point and came up with unique gadgets which left the spectators stay stunned by looking at the plethora of functions that these devices were able to perform.

Before the smart phone, all the other gadgets as mentioned above took their birth and advanced with the implementation of the cutting edge technology of their respective times. Later the mobile companies thought of bringing up such mobiles which would be flexible enough to meet the needs of the common man. The first thing that came along was a mobile phone with a built in media player. Later the need of having a video player and an embedded camera emerged. The hardware was compressed and a mobile with an audio and video player which could take low resolution photographs came into existence. An embedded radio also fought its way into the mobile phone as the storage space provided in the phone was not huge. Later the need of having a computer like mobile emerged. People started to boost the sale of the products with new functionalities. People were hungry for a more compact and all-rounder gadget which could handle almost any work thrown at it. And then the urge for merging the gap between the computers and the mobile phones arrived. Scientists got paid in millions for every invention they made. It was at this turning point that the computer applications like MS Word, Internet browsers and high resolution games found their way into this compact communication gadget. These new gadgets employing the latest cutting edge technology made a separate category in themselves. They emerged to be called as smart phones. Today’s smart phones were the dreams of the people a decade ago.

Today smart phones have just thrilled the world with their list of abilities. Technologies like Bluetooth, Wireless-fidelity, Touch-screen, GPRS and GPS have made the mobile phones stronger than ever before. Today we can connect to the internet at a blazing 3G speed through our mobile phones without using an external modem and that too at a shallow crashing price. But the mobile companies still did not stop the competition. They came up with phones in which the songs in the playlist could be toggled by just shaking the phone to the left or to the right. Sony Ericson and Nokia came up with unique sets with a huge range of abilities. There was a time when a mobile with a 3MP camera made people turn around a few times with surprised faces. But today mobiles with a resolution of 12MP are also available in the market. An LED flash is also found among most of the Sony Ericson mobiles which work pretty well in all conditions. Taking photographs/ videos in night time was never so easier. The storage space in N97 has reached its peak with 48GB of recordable space.

The credit of bringing up such inventions into the market goes mainly to the Chinese. Transferring files from one mobile to the other using the Bluetooth connectivity is a real bliss. Today’s smart phones are a real boon to humanity. Journalists are now really very happy as they do not need to carry their professional cameras wherever they go as the smart phones have done them a favor by giving them high resolution cameras which can take pictures which are good enough to be uploaded onto their websites. Waiting for the buses at the bus stand is never a headache if you are having a multimedia phone which can play songs with a good clarity. Blogging and tweeting has never been as easier as with these killer gadgets. Thanks to the engineers who came up with such inventions which proved to be a boon to all the human beings. Let us wait and see the highest limit that these smart phones will transcend.

Institutes And Careers In Animation Industry

There are many students who are eagerly looking forward for a great career in the animation industry, but are clueless about the opportunities that are available in this field. I spent hours and hours trying to find matter related to the above topic but ended up with web pages which were either endorsements or a few paragraphs written in order get an higher ranking in the Search Engines. And finally after sorting everything out I came up with the following information.

There are many animation training institutes which will teach you the basics and also the cutting edge facts about animation. But before doing these courses it is better to take a look at the picture which you show you your future in this field. Type any phrase related to animation and its scope. All you are going to end up with are millions of web pages which have nothing to say but almost every animation institute to endorse. I finally went through a few magazines in my house to find the scope of animation in recent times.

1. History: Everything from “Mickey Mouse” to “2012” is the fruit obtained after drawing millions and millions of sketches. I will not tell you everything in much detail but I will definitely cover everything in sufficient detail. Animation is nothing but a series of photographs taken at different instants, shown one after the other in a short span of time in such a manner that it seems as if the characters in the photographs are moving as in real life. You will be surprised to know that the birth of animation dates back to the times when the “Ajanta And Ellora” caves were built! You will be able to see a series of pictures written one after the other in the caves which showed the position of various things changing with respect to time in them. When you run along the wall of the cave and look at the wall you will see what the creators wanted to show you. Let me tell you a few amazing things using which even you will be able to do some simple and interesting animations for yourself.

2. Procedure: Take a Digital Camera and go to some open space where the rising sun will be clearly visible. Now take a stand or stool or anything which will be able to hold your camera in a still position. Your camera should not move even a millimeter’s span from its place. Now focus the camera to the position from where the sun is rising. Let us say that the sun takes eight minutes to rise. We need at least twenty frames to be flipped per second in order to come up with a continuous film. So if we want to show the sun rise within two seconds we will need to shoot a minimum of forty to fifty frames. Divide the time into equal segments and take the still photographs at different moments. If I take forty still shots then I will need to take five photographs per minute. I.e. I need to take one photograph in every twelve seconds. Now throw all these frames into a movie maker software. Define the time between two frames and the number of frames per second as per your convenience. Now play the film and you will be able to see an eight minute’s sunrise within two seconds. To double the time there is an option in the movie maker which will slow down the rate at which the frames are switching. This is better as compared to taking eighty photographs in order to get a little bit more refined film. The difference will not be so evident though. In this manner you can show the blooming of flowers and many other snail-paced movements in a shorter span of time. This is almost like stop motion animation, though stop motion animation is a slightly different procedure. You take a car place it at different positions and take the photographs. Throw the photographs into a movie making software. And then you end up with a film showing a racing car running at a blazing speed. You can later add the sound effects as per your convenience.

3. Jobs For Freshers: The greatest of all animation films are done using the same theme. In some films three dimensional characters are created (after seeing the drawings of the artists). And these 3D pictures are projected onto a 2D plane. These movies are the outcome of the individual and team efforts of a group of hundreds or maybe even thousands of animation experts. Now did you understand the scope of animation? But what about the freshers? How can the freshers earn? The novices are not selected for such huge projects right at once. The novices need to work for small advertising agencies or industries in the endorsement filming sector. The battle is tougher at the beginning. But once you get through this, you will be sent to far off places on the behalf of your company taking your reputation into consideration. You do not join this work for the sake of money. Time has revealed that only enthusiastic people who have a great zeal to create good animations are more successful in this field. So think before you leap. You can also work for the gaming industries as an animation novice. But the greatest hurdle is to show your own individual work to the recruiters in order to show your talent and enthusiasm in this field. It has been a proved fact that many engineers and art students can become really great animators. In this field you need to work for a small package at the beginning. If everything goes well, you will find yourself bathing in millions and millions of rupees or may be even dollars! Step in, only if you are interested in the working part and not the money part. Professionals strive for achieving excellence. Money is a byproduct of your hard work at least in this field.

4. Institutes: As far as I know all the institutes are good but it is better to go for the best known ones like ANTS even if they are a bit costlier than the others. In this field your institution also plays an important role of telling the recruiter about the skills that you are equipped with.

5. Courses And Jobs: There are different courses in animation institutes each with its own unique price tag. So choose your package very carefully. Web animation is not so useful unless you need to design the web pages of your own private website. Learn Cascading Style Sheets and a little bit of HTML if you want to bring up your own site on the internet. You may also learn 3D animation but you will not be selected in big projects if you are not much talented hence it is a better option to become a 2D animation expert rather than becoming a 3D half-baked egg. But one thing surely drives me crazy. The lifestyle of these guys! A few beautiful sketches and the huge cheques point towards your bank account number. Sounds cool doesn’t it. But the efforts put in by the animators are just worth the fruit they are rewarded with. So this was all about the scope of animation. Hope your thirst is now quenched a little bit. The scope of animation is really very good. Thousands of animators are needed in the animation industry and the statistics are showing a rise in the demand for animators in the upcoming years. The only thing you need is a passionate heart that just loves this job. And then, the whole world is in your hands. For more information you may consult the training institutions. Do not forget to leave a reply if you have a bit more information on animation.

The Secret Behind Michelle Obama’s sculpted arms

The secret to Michelle Obama’s sculpted arms has been revealed. Michelle’s longtime personal trainer McClellan described the workout routine of his famous client in the ‘Women’s Health’ magazine.

    Her routine is as follows:

At the end of an intense routine of cardio workouts and weight training, Michelle finishes with the “arm-shaping superset” of triceps pushdowns and hammer curls to tone her (one of the most commented-upon) pair of arms. Michelle usually wears sleeveless outfits.

In order to get arms like Michelle you need to perform one set of triceps pushdowns using a straight bar attached to the high pulley of a cable station and then, without resting, follow with asset of hammer curls using dumbbells. Immediately, repeat the entire process until two or three sets of both exercises have been completed.

Mr. Obama however said that he works out six days a week: two cardio days and four weight lifting days split between the upper and lower body. Later he added,”My blood pressure is pretty low and I tend to be a healthy eater. So I probably could get away with cutting back (my workouts) a little bit. The main reason I do it is just to clear my head and relieve me of stress.”

Michelle Obama also cited small changes to her family’s diet that she says have made a difference. They include eliminating processed foods, cutting back on sugar drinks, eating more fresh fruits and vegetables, eating together more as a family and teaching her daughters, ‘how to read food labels?’. She said she tries to be conscientious about health and fitness because her family is too busy to think about it everyday.

How to build your own HTPC?

If you are having an old system do not just throw it away. Instead build a home theatre Personal Computer out of it. Read on to know the various things with which you will be able to build your own HTPC.

The two most widely used devices in our households are TV’s and Computers. In image processing it is more convenient to tweak the output image using a computer than using a television. Television concentrates more on image and sound clarity but lacks the flexibility of a user defined equalizer or a user defined video renderer. The only two user controls that we all use in a TV are Switch on and Switch off. But what if you connect your computer to the TV? You will be able to customize the various video and audio settings as per your preferences. The PC on the other hand has the disadvantage that you need a larger pocket in order to get a PC screen of a bigger size. If you build your own HTPC you have the advantage of recording live TV programmes, pausing the program wherever you want it to, resuming the programme from the paused period, hearing audio, listening to the radio and of course, not to forget the 5.1 digital surround sound effect that you can add to this giant monster. This is garlanded with another advantage of the TV screen doubling up as your computer monitor, whenever you want it to!

The Hardware:

1. Cabinet: The cabinet must be well ventilated and should have very little fans. If the number of fans is more make sure that they are not noisy. It is always a better option to get rid of the noisy fans. Make sure that the cabin is a good looking one. A little bit of designing with radium shall play the trick for you if the cabinet is uglier to look at. Just make sure that the ventilation is not hindered due to the radium coat. If you want to buy one, the best option is to go for iBall Engine-x. it should be available for a price of around 1,500 Rupees. Buying a micro Power Supply from VIP would also be a good idea.

2. Processors: Any Dual-core processor shall do. The intel E6550 which comes for Rs 7,800 will be a good buy if you wish to upgrade the existing processor. Remember one thing very well, we want a configuration which will play HD movies with utmost clarity. Hence we need at least a C2D processor which can handle the task quite comfortably without getting overheated. We have removed the fans. Hence overclocking an older processor would be a bad idea.

3. Motherboard: Any motherboard which has passive cooling solution like heat dispersing pipes is preferable. HDMI slots will be needed only if you will be using the onboard graphics card. The MSI K9AGM2-690v is a good motherboard available at a price of Rs.3,100.

4. Graphics card: Once again we do not need a heavy duty performer. Let it be a simpler one like the Galaxy GF 8400GS (Rs 2,900).

5. TV-Tuner+Video Capture Card: This part does the work of encoding the signals into a suitable format and storing them for future viewing. For this the best option available is the Leadtek Winfast DTV1800H which will be available at Rs3,990.

6. RAM: Two 512 MB sticks are best. 1GB stick is also better but two 512 MB RAM sticks work much more faster. If you are using Vista 2GB memory is a must and should requirement.

7. Hard Drive: Minimum 320GB as you will be storing a huge amount of video files in it. Should not be noisy. There is absolutely no need to go for speed greater than 5,400.

8. Keyboard and Mouse: Purchasing a wireless keyboard and mouse is a bare necessity for a HTPC. You do not want to go near the PC every time you need to use the keyboard or the mouse in order to change a setting.

9. TV: Almost all the technical magazines advise Samsung Bordeaux LA32R81B (Rs 52,000).

10. Speakers: You may cut your cost in any of the above hardwares but not on this one. Go for nothing less than the Artis S6600R/FM (Rs 8,500).

And now you are ready with your own HTPC. Do not spend money unnecessarily to get all the recommended hardwares. Instead cut your cost by buying only that which is missing in your system. It is your satisfaction which is of prime importance. For more assistance go for a Google Search. This is more of a Hobbyists activity. The possible combinations are quite huge. The above recommendations are best and supported by almost all the leading technical magazines. So get whatever is required and get going with your own HTPC. Have a nice day.

Prevent Bad Breath | Halitosis

Many people suffering from bad breath problems (Halitosis) have no idea that they have a smelling mouth unless somebody informs them.

Chronic Halitosis is a condition in which a person produces a very bad and offensive odour from his/her oral/nasal regions. The most commonly found morning breath that most people experience is not true Halitosis. There is no age, sex, race or socio-economic boundary when it comes to halitosis.

Causes: On an average, every person has nearly around 800 types of bacteria in his/her mouth. Of these, certain types of bacteria promote bad breath by first and foremost breaking down the leftover proteins from the food particles, dead cells and mucous into amino acids. In order to extract energy from these amino acids, the bacteria further dissect these molecules, thus causing them to release volatile Sulphuric gases. In actual it is not the bacteria which emits foul odour, instead it is the reaction between the food eaten and the oral bacteria that sets it off.

Though our saliva serves as a natural mouthwash, it is not produced in sufficient quantity while we are sleeping. Hence you get a bad breath the moment you wake up. Medication can also be held responsible for promoting bad breath (Halitosis). Antidepressants, antihistamines as well as painkillers can trigger the possibilities of giving you a dry mouth as a side effect.

Medical reasons for getting bad breath (Halitosis): Problems like sinus infections/abnormalities, tonsil infection/tonsillitis, lung diseases, kidney diseases, liver diseases, blood disorders, diabetes, gall bladder dysfunction, menstruation and carcinomas can also trigger the chances of getting a bad breath (Halitosis).

Dental reasons for getting bad breath (Halitosis): Extensive dental decay, periodontal gum disease, oral infection or abscesses, oral cancers, xerostomia (dry mouth conditions), oral conditions resulting from post nasal drips or discharges, allergy conditions and a proliferation of specific types of gram-negative anaerobic bacteria are also among the list of causes of bad breath (Halitosis).

Symptoms of Bad Breath (Halitosis): A white or yellow film on the tongue, dry mouth, bitter, sour, or metallic tastes, post nasal drainage, white nodules on the tonsils are the general symptoms.

    Home Remedies:
1. Brush with baking soda to reduce the acidity in the mouth.
2. Brush and rinse using Hydrogen Peroxide when you don’t have upper respiratory infections. But do not swallow it under any circumstances.
3. Gargle with lukewarm salt water.
4. Avoid eating foods with refined carbohydrates and sugars like cookies, sweets, cakes, carbonated soft drinks, ice-creams and syrups.
5. Drink sufficient amount of water (at least 6 to 8 glasses) everyday.
6. Brush teeth two times a day (especially before going to bed).
7. Mix a teaspoon of Fenugreek seeds to a litre of water, simmer for 15 minutes, strain and drink as tea.
8. Exercise and eat fibre rich food in order to prevent constipation.
9. Chew unripe guava fruit or its tender leaves. This prevents bad breath (Halitosis) and gum bleeding.
10. Eat avocado to prevent decomposition of the intestines.

    Treatments:
1. Brush your teeth and floss regularly. When cleaning your mouth pay special attention to the back of your tongue. Brush or else use a tongue scrapper as far back as you can.
2. Use a mouth wash at night. Rinsing at night prepares you for a fresher-smelling morning.
3. Drinking water throughout the day washes away bacteria and other particles which promotes Halitosis.
4. If none of the above remedies work pay a visit to your nearest dentist.

         Have a nice day!!!!!!!!!!

Film Review: Paa

For The first time when I saw the poster of Paa I just thought that it was the story of a silly boy. But after seeing it I realized how wrong I was. But people still did not receive the theme of the film. What is it that the film is speaking about? Read on to unveil the things that the director wants to convey to his audience.

At the beginning I thought that Paa was the story of a boy who was an illegitimate son born to Vidya and Abhishek. But, then I realized that there was something more that the director wanted to tell to his audience. But, as the approach of the director was indirect, many a people did not get the gist of the theme. Let me make myself a bit more clear.

First of all, the director chooses his characters very carefully. The mother (Vidya Balan) is a doctor. The reason why he assigned this role to the mother is very important. He just wanted to show, how stubborn a warm hearted lady could become if she is thrown into tongue-tied situations as in the case of Vidya in the film. A lady doctor especially a Gynaec is supposed to be very warm-hearted and emotional. But this same warm-hearted mother becomes a tough hearted lover and shows a stubborn behavior towards Amol Aarte the guy who left her pregnant without taking the responsibility of his mistake. As the mother was soft hearted she could not abort the child. As also, she wanted her lover to be happy and hence she discontinued her relationship with Amol Aarte. Overall, Vidya is a character which visualizes a mother who makes sacrifices at every point of her life for the happiness of others.

Next he assigns the role of a politician to the father. In order to run away from your mistakes you need a stubborn heart. You need to listen to your brain and act in a very diplomatic manner. A politician is always afraid of his mistakes, because, one mistake revealed will affect his votes on a very large scale. The director tries to give this message to the audience. The dirty plays involved in the field of politics are also highlighted in an excellent manner in the film. The irresponsible media people are also criticized in a very diplomatic manner in the film. The fifteen minutes show given by Amol Aarte in which he accepts to confess for his corrupt deeds brings up a surprise to the audience as the end approaches. The media men are exposed in a very unique manner to the audience. The media people are also reminded the unique role they play in the society as they have the greatest exposure to the citizens of the country.

Next comes, the studious child-Auro who is growing almost five to eight times the speed at which a normal person grows. This is just to keep up the pace of the film. The film runs on a faster pace and makes sure that unwanted things should not bore the audience. The film is more about the last days that Auro spends on this earth.

One more thing that the film has got to show is the way the ego of a child boosts up, when he becomes acquainted with a person of a higher caliber sitting at a higher post. The relation between a father and a son is also highlighted in a very unique manner which was never tried before. In Paa, the great politician Amol Aarte becomes really very happy when he comes to know that he has a son. Anybody would feel awkward to know that his son is suffering from such a disorder, but the same is not true with Amol Aarte. After fourteen years he meets the girl whom he had mated with and comes to know that the boy who had been his friend for a few days was none other than his own son! Even if he knew that his son is suffering from a disorder he was happy, happy to know that he had a son, a son who stayed busy all the time. This shows a clean heart. And then in front of the media he accepts that he had an illegal child with Vidya and takes his chance to propose Vidya through the Television news channel.
Auro comes to know through his mom that he is the son of the great politician Amol Aarte. But diplomatic as he is Auro likes to investigate the matter and calls up his friend and asks him the similarity between him and his father. Surprisingly he makes a list of his qualities and tests if Amol Aarte also had these qualities or not. And then on the basis of percentage matching finally gets assured that Amol really is his father.

Overall Paa is a great film. Amitabh is really good, but, sometimes the accent is very confusing. A few words are a bit hard to catch the moment you hear it. Everything else is excellent. Vidya is at her best as a frustrated lover. Do not give this one a miss. Auro also comes up with a few stomach tickling great jokes. Watch the film and have a nice day!!!!!!!

Nokia N97: Not Just Another Smartphone

Nokia N97 stands out to be one of the few mobiles which come with an exhaustive list of features. No other smart phone gives you such privileges at such a low price!!!

When I saw Nokia-N97 for the first time I knew it was “something special”. But when I looked at its features, I realized that I was wrong. Nokia-N97 was something which was more than “something special”! With a price of around $700, Nokia-N97 proved itself to be a great performer by revealing its exhaustive list of features and a snappy performance in every trial thrown at it. This one is a niche cell and cannot be compared with other smart phones as it belongs to a whole different category within itself. Some refer to N97 as the king of all smart phones by looking at its snappy performance and the exhaustive list of features it comes with!

What is it that makes everybody go so crazy about this cell? Well, the list of features it comes with, makes everybody’s jaws drop down in the split of a second. Let’s take a detailed look at its features:

1. Five Mega Pixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics.

2. Provides features like autofocus, LED flash and a video light for night-time footage

3. 2592x1944 pixel images

4. 30 fps VGA recording!

5. A rear secondary camera for video calling.

6. 3.5 Inches screen.

7. 16 million colors

8. 360x640 pixels

9. A resistive touchscreen which has a proximity sensor, handwriting recognition and an accelerometer.

10. 3.5mm audio jack.

11. A slide screen.

12. A full fledged QWERTY keyboard.

13. Large and spacious keys.

14. Symbian S60 5th edition O.S.

15. Built-in pocket office suite.

16. ARM11 434MHz processor with 128MB of RAM.

17. 32GB inbuilt memory+ 16GB microSD card.

18. 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, A2DP, stereo fm radio, GPS with Nokia maps 2.0

19. Voice command, TV-out.

20. Supports almost all the major video and audio file formats.

21. Pre-installed Adobe-Flashlite 3 plug-in.

22. This means that you can see online videos streaming into your mobile with a breeze!!!!!!!!!

Wasn’t I correct while saying that your jaw will drop down within the split of a second? But Nokia-N97 just cannot be compared with the other cells as it belongs to a whole different category of itself. Nokia-N97 is not everybody’s cup of tea. Mainly because it is intended for a whole different category of people. It has a good style statement which makes the passerby’s turn to take another look at it. Any youngster will buy this to make others envy the privileges that he earns from this cell. But the one’s who get the most out of Nokia-N97 are the reporters and journalists. The camera is good and the video recorder is also snappy. It is definitely a materialist’s treat. A few geeks will also yearn over the list of features provided by this cell. The only reason why so many people did not get their pockets decorated with this cell is because of the price tag which drills a big hole through their pockets. But if you have 700 odd bucks ready to be burnt for a cutting-edge killer gadget, Nokia-N97 does not leave any leaf unturned, and gives you almost everything that you may expect from a gadget with this price tag. But if you are a professional photographer, you may give this one a miss. The camera is quite good, but it loses it to the likes of the Sony Ericson camera studded smart phones. Overall this is an excellent treat for the journalists who need an all in one solution gadget which gives them high quality performance at the expense of a little space in the pockets! Browsing is a great treat with this set in your hands. The keypad is also great and gives you a comfortable feel with the keys at hand. But If it is photography you seek go for the Sony Ericson. They are the best mobiles when it comes to photo clarity.

How To Study?

Many of us are always stuck in the thought of “how to study?”. The reason is, because, whatever we do, we do not see a hike in our annual statistics. Read on to know the best ways of studying which can make your percentage shoot off through the roof of your college (or school) and make your principal wonder as to what makes this student so indigenously genuine!

The reason why many a students do not get a lively marks card which shows their real face to the world is because they do not follow procedure. I have seen the sharpest of all students failing in their exams and I have also seen the dumbest of all students topping the class with excellent marks. Did you know that there are many students in the crowd who go to the extent of even “memorizing math”? You might not believe this but I have seen the greatest of all dummies getting decent marks in Engineering Mathematics by memorizing the subject!!!!!!

Why is it that the greatest of all mathematicians failed in Mathematics during their school/college days? The reason is: they did not follow procedure. What procedure? I will get to that later while telling about math related subjects. First let us take a look at the different types of subjects that we generally deal with: ‘theory subjects’ and ‘problematic subjects’. The way of dealing with either of the categories is different. You cannot study both of them by following the same procedure. Remember? This is the reason why students who are good at math are worse at theory subjects and vice-versa. Now, let us take a deeper dive into the topic at hand.

First let me tell you how to deal with the theory subjects. Why is it that the students who are good at math fail to perform well in their theory subjects? The reason is because the content is long. And students who are math oriented cannot concentrate on reading large topics for long hours. Students who are good at theory subjects are the ones who are good readers. That is, they are the ones whose heads are always found to be dug deep into the world of novels. They just like reading things continuously without the headache of taking a pen and paper and writing down the most important points in order to memorize them. They read the topic once, understand it, and write things in their own way. They love subjects like Social Science and science which involves a lot of reading. But what about the math lovers, how shall they tackle with this problem? Well the theory lovers also need this piece of information, for, though they are good at the theory subjects, their scores are not so exciting. Why? Because they do not follow procedure. The procedure is as given below:

• Your mind does not understand things which are twisted or mixed up with a huge number of unwanted words.
• The mind always likes clean and easy to remember things.
• That is, you need to squash the subject at hand into a set of very few pages.
• While reading the subject, do not bother about remembering what you have read, just compress the information into a few set of pages which are very clean and easy for the mind to remember.
• Read the whole paragraph ‘as it is in the text’ and summarize it using a few keywords which you find easy to remember.
• Do this, till all that you have to study has been put in the form of a paragraph made up of a few keywords which are helpful in remembering the topic.

If done properly even the greatest of all engineering subjects can be squashed to a mere of three to four pages of extreme important text. Remembering three to four pages of weighty text is never a hard work. Even the greatest of all beef headed guys on this earth can win things under these circumstances. After this step the next thing is to revise the compressed document at least two times. This shall make you confident enough to face your examinations bravely without the fear of losing your chance in the battlefield.

Now let us come to the thing which troubles many a kids around the whole world. Even I was a guy who was very much afraid of math. But the day when I came up with this solution I realized how wrong I was in thinking that math is difficult. Mathematics is the simplest of all subjects on this earth. The reason why the toppers score so well in it is because they know the trick which works with this subject. Many students say that you need to work math everyday in order to improve it. But in reality math is a subject which can be learnt within a single night. All you need to do is the following:
• Prepare the key document at the beginning of the year.
• Even if all the derivations are given in the text. Write them separately in your key document.
• While writing derivations ignore the text given in the document and skip this part in your document. At times when it is very crucial to use text use a few words which describe the actions taken in that particular step.
• Doing this shall now reduce your derivation in the document to a few lines of key equations.
• No matter what happens never forget to maintain your list of formulae. This is something which helps you all the time in your examinations.
• Note down the different types of problems that can be asked from each chapter in a piece of rough paper.
• Now write down a brief procedure for solving a particular type of problem in a step-by-step manner.
• Note down such procedure for all types of problem and remember them.

And bingo! There you go. After following the above procedure you will feel so confident that even if you attend for forty marks in the exam you will be able to bet on the fact that you will be passing your exam under any circumstances. this shall make math so easy for you that you will eventually fall in love with the subject after looking at your score.

Ok guys. Take care and have a nice day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How to grow a Bonsai tree?

Did you see a tree growing at the size of a plant? That is what Bonsai art is all about. Read the following article to find out how you can grow a Bonsai tree.

Bonsai is an art of growing big trees in small pots and in small sizes. In simpler words it is the art of growing big trees like small plants. The thing which will catch you with surprise is that; a Banyan tree which is grown using Bonsai art is as small as a flowering plant but still has roots hanging down its branches which are trying to touch its toes! Thus Bonsai is not just mere gardening, but an art of growing big trees in small pots such that their heights shall not be greater than the heights of our small plants. But, the minus point is that these trees are very weak. Why? I shall tell that later. Let us now focus on how Bonsai is done.

If you have taken care of a baby, then growing a Bonsai tree shall not be a problem for you. You just need to plant a tree in a small pot. But that is not all. The real work starts here onwards. Your need to take due care of your Bonsai tree by all means and at all times. You need to water it. But, in a fixed proportion. Remember you are watering a tree which is growing at the size of a small plant. Your Bonsai tree should not be watered too much. Neither should it be watered too little. This is where the art of Bonsai lies. If a big tree is made to grow the size of a plant, how much water will it need? Remember; you are growing a “Bonsai tree” i.e. you will be able to see a small tree with a broad trunk if it is growing properly. Not just that, you will also be able to see the bark of the tree! You must be getting questions like: What does all this mean? Why grow a tree like a plant? What are the advantages?

There is one advantage. You can reduce the size of big trees and keep them in your bedroom! Trees of your choice! Trees of your size! Imagine having a Banyan tree the size of a small plant with roots hanging down its branches! Or, a tree with your favorite flower growing inside your bedroom! But, is it just about adequate watering? Not really. You need to cut its branches in such a manner that the tree grows with spreading branches. So, you need to cut it in such a manner that its branches shall grow wide and not tall. You also need to keep the size of its trunk quite low. The most important and difficult part of this art is to prune the roots of the tree! Remember, the tip of the roots have cells which have the tendency to grow at a very fast rate as compared to the other cells of the root? In order to achieve this difficult task it is required that you use suitable pots and soil. There are special pots that are made for the cultivation of Bonsai trees. These pots are quite shallow. If they are deep they employ unlockable doors which make it easier for you to reach the roots by just opening either of the four doors with which the pot is made (open the doors one at a time). The other pots are quite shallow. The water used for cultivating Bonsai trees should also be porous so that they can drain the excessive water. Excess of water will rotten the roots of your plant which is an undesired phenomenon. The water should not be logging hence a very porous type of soil is brought into play. It is sometimes made with husk, but Bonsai professionals employ a whole different proportion of mixtures. I anyhow exercised a different trick. I brought some clay and filtered it using an ordinary mesh which can filter off fine grains. I used the filtered off grains in the pot and it worked the trick! I put a little soil now and then as the soil can keep the roots wet for some time. The tree can be easily plucked for pruning its roots.

The next thing is to add a little bit of salt and other nutrients that are required by your tree to grow strong. This seems difficult doesn’t it? That is why growing such trees, is called as Bonsai art as it requires adequate skill to make big trees grow in a small pot according to the proportions defined by you. But if you are working in the house all day long you can grow a Bonsai tree as a hobby. You can make it your favorite hobby too!

The Bonsai tree will give a very different touch to the interior decoration of your house. One such tree in the hall will make everybody adore your art. As also, according to Feng Shui keeping Chi (earth) in your house is a good way for balancing the various elements with which the matter of your house is made. So it also comes with the benefit of having more vibrations in your house which will increase your luck! What more reasons do you need to get started with this art? Choose the plant that you want to grow and get going.

Trying Bonsai art is a real fun. But as nature has it; every art is a bit difficult to carry out. With practice you will get familiar with this art. If you want to see Bonsai trees the pictures shall be available on the internet. So what are you waiting for? Get started and don’t forget to leave your experience behind in the comments section. Have a cool day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3 Idiots: A Must Watch Film

This is one more film just like our all time favorite-Taare Zameen Par, but still a little bit different. The theme is almost the same, but there were a few things that the director could not elaborate. Read on to see the points that the director could not elaborate due to shortage of time in the film.

It seems that Aamir has taken up the task of improving our nation and making the 2020 dream of Abdul Kalam true by doing niche projects which have a unique message for the ambitious and talented youth of our country. Did you know that Bill Gates was an unsuccessful student in his graduation days? But today all the top students of all the top engineering colleges are working under him! Why is it that Bill Gates became so successful in his life? Because he followed the theme of 3 idiots. He listened to his heart and moved further in the field he was most interested in- softwares. Do you know that 70% of all engineers become engineers just in order to earn more money out of their profession. But what about job satisfaction? Money does not bring satisfaction. Instead it brings lust. A person earning more money feels like earning even more money. The thirst of money is never quenched. But if you listen to your heart and choose the work which interests you the most, then there is no turning back. Even if you earn less money out of it you will still be happy in your life. The reason why job looks like a punishment to many engineers is because they do not like doing it. Their field of interest is completely different. Of course if you are passionately interested in playing cricket, making it a serious source of earning money is a whole different story. I just want to say that the first step is to decide what you would like to do in order to live a happy life. And this is what the film 3 idiots also wants to say.

Remember what Aamir says when he enters the principal cabin: ‘Everybody in your university speaks about gaining higher scores and going to U.S.’ This is what Rancho did not want Farhan to do’ because, Farhan was interested in wild life photography. If Farhan would do an Engineer’s job, he would not become so famous, because, he had no passion in Engineering and Machines. The reason why everybody thows their children into the engineering field is because the scope is higher. This is what the parents are always worried about. Believe it or not, nowadays there are lots of Virus-like and Hitler-like parents. All they say is: Life is a race. They never realize that even the children are willing to run. But the children should be given their chance of choosing the right racing track in which they like to run. If you keep Bengal Gram and Jaggery at the end of the track the horse will definitely run faster. But what if you hold a vessel filled with red chilly powder. Would you expect the horse to run with the same enthusiasm? The first thing that the parents should do is to ask the children their field of interest and then give appropriate suggestions. Counseling with the children is always the best option. Understand their dreams. Do not forget that it is their life that they have to live. It is their satisfaction which counts. You need to respect their freedom. Do not put the burden of your dreams on your children. If you do it you children will become like slaves and live like slaves in the society. The only difference is that these slaves will be earning a bit more than traditional slaves. Let your children be like free birds or else they will never enjoy the flight of life. They will never understand the power of their powerful wings. This is what the director wants to say in the case of Farhan in 3 idiots.

The second one among the three idiots: Raju is just an example to show that category of students who are reluctant in joining Engineering and getting placed in companies in order to handle their responsibilities. The lecturers need to understand the students belonging to this category. One more thing that was highlighted was the reason for his decreasing marks: fear. Its only fear that hinders the marks of some talented students. Fear of failing, fear of falling in the middle of the racing track. Fighting with fear was what Raju had to do.

And then coming to the third idiot: Rancho. A unique thinker and a very trustworthy friend. All he wanted was the happiness of his friends and hence he posts the wild life photographs of Farhan to his favorite wild life photographer. He also guides Raju and makes sure that he gets placed in a good company. Rancho wants to learn all the time from everything that is going on around him. Remember how he gets the idea of shocking his senior’s d_ck who wanted to rag him. He looked around and saw the electric wire. The moment he saw it the idea of giving a shock clicked in his mind and he worked it out. Just looking around us we can learn so many things. This is what the character of Rancho does. It does not just see things, it notices things. This is a very unique character and is found very rarely in the Indian society. Remember his words: “perfection ke peeche bhaago, phir dekho kamiyabi jhak maarte hue tumhare paas aayegi.” Which by the way is absolutely true and we all know it. Also there is another category of students. Students who are studious but are thrown into fileds they are not interested in. Take me for example. I am good at software programming but I had to choose electrical branch because it was the only option left. I was so much interested in learning computers that I was ready to opt for B.Sc in Computers. But my family members did not agree. My problem was that my marks were good and my elders wanted me to become an engineer. Even today I do not study well in my branch related subjects, but, if I touch computer related books I finish a book of thousand pages within five days and also make notes on them at the same time! I don’t want the future of many other Akshay’s to be ruined like mine. If I would listen to my heart then, I would be the topper of the university by now. Now I only realize how much I miss my world of Computers.

Did you know that there are thousands and thousands of Bill Gates in India? The only reason why they did not become as successful as the foreign Bill Gates was because these Indian Bill Gates dreamed of working ‘under the foreign Bill Gates’. Hope you understand what I want to say. You need to do a job just in order to gain experience. You just need to learn how to use your wings for flying. Later onwards when you become an expert, you may fly wherever you want to. My uncle worked as a civil Engineer in a company for two years for a salary of rupees twenty thousand. Now he has opened his own agency and is earning a minimum of sixty thousand rupees per month out of every contract! See! What if he kept working under the company? Do you realize how much he would loose in his entire lifetime? The ratio is 1:3 i.e. he would loose twice the money he earned out of his job. I don’t want this to happen to everybody.

The film challenges the Indian system of education. The actors are at their best (as always). This is all that the film 3 idiots has got to say. Remember these things very well. They shall help you live a better life henceforth. So be one among the 3 idiots and then you will watch everyone pulling their pants down and saying “Jahapana! Tussi great ho! Tofa kubool karo!”. Have a nice day!!!!!!!!!!

Bold And Tough Moustaches

If you watch old movies you will come to know about the craze for moustaches in the olden times. Nowadays, a good moustache has become a rare sight. Read on to know if moustaches are your cup of tea or not.

If you ask your mother about the physique of her dream boy she would end up her portrait with an overwhelming moustache. It is not that the craze for moustaches among the boys has declined; it is just that guys have never bothered to try it out. But, a good moustache is not every person’s cup of tea. Some like it some don’t. Some crave from it whereas some guys just run away from it. Some look awesomely masculine with it, whereas some people end up looking garish with it. You will be surprised to know that the demand for cool moustaches in the earlier times matched the demand for a cool body as of today. Old actors like Kamal Hasan, Anil Kapoor and also the incredible Raj Kapoor were all found to be showing off with their beautiful moustaches. The most vital demand from the resume of a ferocious villain is that of a thick and solid moustache (remember the manly Ghajini villain). It is true that moustaches give burly looks to a man. Nowadays men with moustaches are a rare sight. But once upon a time it was a bare essential, which differentiated a man from a woman. A good moustache shows the qualities of dominance in a man. It also gives the guys a masculine look which most of the girls crave for. Some people are believed to look cuter with a moustache, but, that is a whole different category in itself.

One of the reasons why a few people do not keep moustaches is because they are too lazy to look after it. Moustaches need due care just like our hairs. Every aspect of your moustache counts when it comes to having a great moustache. If you are a boy you need to trim them. If you are a cop you need to let them grow like the leaves of a palm tree. If you are a funky guy you may just blend them with your beard to get those awesome French looks. A moustache can be used in many ways to add to your beauty. If you are not getting the attention of the opposite sex, I would suggest you to experiment with your moustaches for a week or so, and then observe the difference. Good moustaches steal the show many a times. And of course not to forget the cool Chinese type moustaches which are the day-dreams of many an Asians.

The above photographs show two actors- surya and Vikram from the Tamil film industry who are well known for their masculinity. If you observe the photographs you will find out that their moustaches steal our attention very easily. The masculine looks on their faces are a result of the great moustaches that they have maintained. So, if you are a bit short in height, and are finding it difficult to frighten your foes, try your luck by growing a moustache like them. You never know, even a tiger might get afraid of you when you growl at them with your terrific moustaches. The trick is to keep it clean so that it does not look like a piece of slush pasted on your face.

If you want the perfect malefic look, then there are two ways to follow. Either you tone your body by toiling at a gym or, you maintain compact and clean moustaches. Remember, bulky moustaches often make people look like fiends. So better avoid such circumstances. Looking good is equally important, hence: keep your whiskers neat and clean. Keep trimming your moustaches once in a week. If you do not have that time better avoid these things. This is the sole reason why many businessmen do not keep moustaches: because they do not have the necessary time to look after them. If you belong to the same category better avoid keeping moustaches. But if you have time for them better give it a try. If you look good with no moustaches maintain the same. There is no rule that a male should and must compulsorily have moustaches. But if they look good, why not give it a try. Who knows, your friends might feel that you look good with them. If you are sufficiently tall, try to maintain thick moustaches. It will give you a very good masculine look. Maintaining a beard along with moustaches is a whole different story. For that you need to have a good trimmer. But if it is only moustaches or a French cut, a pair of scissors will work the trick for you.

The perfect example for a good French cut would be Hrithik’s French style in the movie Dhoom2. If you are short it is better to maintain moustaches as it will give you a ferocious look whenever you get angry with someone. Without a moustache tiny guys usually look younger than their age. So if you are short better try a moustache or a French beard. The little beard of Amir Khan in the film dil Chaha Hai is also a style worth trying. It looks really cool for some people. The best way to make out if it suits you or not is to ask one of your friends to give you a frank review. Try all the three and then decide as to which one suits you the best.

Coloring moustaches as you do with your hairs is not a good idea. The dyes of today contain harmful chemicals which wiil damage your skin if it is sensitive to harsh chemicals. So think before you act. Under such circumstances I would suggest: better shave yourself clean.

Hope you will enjoy the episode of “experimenting with you moustaches” and come up with something that will make you cool and spicy. Have a nice day !!!!!!!
