The Software Engineers of the silicon valley have made the Indians proud with the release of their first ever Indian browser. The Epic browser being designed in Bangalore by a company called as "Hidden Reflex" is built on the Mozilla platform. Epic has too many themes that can be applied to suit the character of every user. There are applications along the side strip which give many options to the users of Epic to choose from. Epic is built to do virus scans of the webpage on the go and is also said to protect the users from phishing attacks.
The interface of Epic is quite easy to handle and makes browsing a new experience to its users. The default theme though does not seem to be so cool for the eyes to accept so easily, can however be customized using the plethora of other choices available. The applications which are placed along the side bar of Epic when clicked will open up a widget like window for its users. One can open only one widget in one window. The browsing speed of Epic is acceptable and gives you a good and unique feel. Epic however is more concerned with the privacy of its users. A single click history delete and many other options make it tempting to give this one a try. The applications in Epic can be customized by the user to meet his/her need.
That being stated the browser is really made for the Indians and by the Indians. How would a browser supporting 12 Indian languages sound? And all this is topped up with what an Indian wants the most: information about the current happenings in a cricket match through a cricket commentary, TV, News and much more options which make Epic a unique, funky and fun to hang around browser for the Indians. Twitter and Facebook are also accessible from the side bar of Epic. I gave it a try and am pretty happy with its performance. We can at least be assured that there will not be many hackers trying to drill a hole into this newcomer as yet. Though the fact that it is built on the Mozilla platform thus give the thieves a small clue. Give Epic a try and you will feel some change in he browsing platform. The release of Epic calls up for a celebration time in India.
