Why Do I Need Higher Education?

What is the need to go for higher education? This is a question which is asked by many students while pursuing their degree. Many students are not aware of the things that they miss if they do not opt for higher education. After doing a degree in Engineering many students search for a job. And once they start earning the urge to study further dies completely. But these students do not realize what they lose if they do not go for higher education.

If you complete your higher degree you get a higher post where you can manage degree students under your position. Some students think that experience will yield them a higher seat and as usual they are wrong while thinking so. I have all means of justifying my opinion. If you study higher you will be considered to be a senior and experienced employee by the degree holders. Also, as you have a master degree under your belt you will be having the flexibility of choosing your job according to your tastes.

A friend of mine studied B.E. in electrical and got his degree. He attended an interview and got selected in Mindtree. The job which he was assigned at there was related to hardware and networking. I wonder who the fool is in this case. Is it the company or is it the student? Actually the company is smart. It is taking students that it thinks will do a better job for it. Students who get higher marks are known to work harder whereas students who score average and below average in some cases are smart students who know the real world as it is around them. The company thinks: who will be much better in analyzing a complex circuit of interconnected wires than an electrical engineer. But, hey! Do you study electrical subjects for four years just in order to end up with a job which has nothing to do with what you have studied. I have seen companies demanding candidates who have 10+2 certificates for the same post (provided that he/she has completed a Hardware and networking course from a reputed institute).

See! And this is where higher education plays its role in giving you what you deserve the best. With a master degree you will be able to specifically target your field of interest. All you need to do is get your master degree and submit a resume at Monster.com. That’s it! 90% of the job is over. Now you just need to accept or reject the offer which has been sent to you by the companies. Also it has been proved that a master degree makes the presentation of the students much better than that of degree students. The seminars and paper presentations that you prepare while studying a higher degree improve your performance and make you fragrant with the aroma of a professional performer. Your soft computing skills improve a lot after pursuing a higher education course. And which company in this world does not like professional performers. You need to do everything that comes your way and fight your way to the topmost seat that you can grab in the companies.

There is one more plus point of getting a master degree. If you are planning to become an entrepreneur the best way is to go for a master degree. The master degree will convince the manager that you have a sound mind and that you can definitely gain success in the business that you plan to develop. A master degree actually tells people that you are a professional in the field that you have chosen. And this means that if you have a master degree in computers and plan to have a small office for teaching or designing softwares, the chances of getting a loan will be increased ten fold as you have much precise knowledge in the necessary field. Thus, having a master degree can save you many headaches. Moreover if you attend a company interview and end up with a tie with somebody else, the first preference will be for the person who either has the highest percentage or for the person who has the highest degree weight.

And thus it is concluded that you have to go for higher education if your degree marks are poor or if you want to grab the highest position in a company. Have a nice day !!!
