How To Design A Logo?

If you own a website you need to have a logo for it. Many people underestimate the necessity of a logo and think that sites run fine without any logo. It is true that a logo is not going to optimize your site in the search engines, but, a logo will give a new finishing touch to your site. A good logo can give your site a unique professional look. People love to see good logos. Logos can be easily created by anybody. But not everybody can create their own logos. But what about the time that you will lose trying to build the logo of your site beginning right from scratch? If you are a busy blogger you may consider hiring a professional to do this work for you. Because, every moment you dont write something you will be losing almost everything. If you are blogging for fun you might not need a logo, but, if you are serious about your site you need to consider the thought of giving your site its own unique logo.

How to build a logo yourself: If you want to build the logo of your site all by yourself you need a pencil a few sketchpens along with a good quality scanner (a camera can also play the trick for you). First of all, draw a rough sketch of the logo that would perfectly suite the theme of your website. Keep on tweaking this logo till you get the perfect design for a logo. After you get the desired final image, overwrite the pencil outlines of the logo with a sketch pen (color the outline with a color that will suit your logo the best). Now take a photograph of the image or use a scanner and scan the image and save it in the JPEG file format. Now open this image in adobe photoshop (don’t even think editing it with MS Paint if you want to have a professional logo). Fill the empty spaces inside the logo with appropriate colors. Use color gradients and give the character inside the logo all the desired effects that are required. Now go to file menu and choose the “save for web” option. Go to the “Image size” tab and check the “constrain proportions” option. Now minimize the size of the logo as per your convenience by altering the height of the logo. As you have checked the “constrain proportions” option, the proportion between the width and height of the logo (which is fixed automatically by the computer by taking the default aspect ratio of the logo into account) will stay the same. Hence decreasing either the height or the width of the logo will alter the other dimension in accordance with the predefined proportion which is automatically detected by your computer. That’s it! Your logo is ready to go live on the web!

If you are not so creative: If you lack the punch of creativity, you may consider giving away this project to a professional logo designer. Better consult an agency of logo designers like logomojo which will give you many flexible options to choose from as per your convenience. The logo designer should be in touch with you throughout the logo creation process. Payment should be via paypal or credit cards as it is the easiest way of trading online. Do not go for any average designing agency. Go specifically for logo designers. There is much difference between a general designer and logo designer. A logo designer will be specifically much talented in designing a logo. Hence a logo designer will be much innovative in logo designing and hence will be able to guide you with many innovative alterations in the designs suggested by you in order to bring forth a logo which looks great by all means. On the other hand, a general designer will do what has been said to him without trying to add much spice to the design described by you. So choose your logo designer carefully. Get the logo of your site designed by a professional from a well known and well reputed agency. A logo is just like the cover of a book. People need not read through the book in order to know what’s inside it. A cover tells them everything about the book. A logo also plays the same role in your website. So choose it carefully. The best logos I have seen so far are from Google. Add the spice of calligraphy to your website name and your logo is ready! It’s just that simple. But calligraphy itself is a little bit tough to handle. Moreover you need to be extremely creative in order to design your own logo for your site. If you aren’t, the logo designers are waiting for you.

Due to some reason it has been found that people just love to hang around with flash sites. The first thing that I will be doing after finishing my exams is to design a logo for my site. Or at least let some professional guy handle it for me. Most of the webmasters supported logomojo in their reviews and hence I thought it would be better to recommend it to my readers.

Have a logoful day!!!
