Meditation Is Bliss

An hour of meditation gives you a feel of fresh air and makes you breathe fresh air. All the thoughts can be dumped and you sit in one corner of the world free from all tensions looking into the deep peace and silence within. Tranquilizing the whole subtle system a kind of a new freshness awakens and you feel that you are a new transformed person altogether.

To meditate is fun and to lead a meditation is even more fun. to tell you the truth meditation is one of the most essential norms of today. If someone tells you that you need to be on the Himalayas if you want to meditate, tell that person that the leading scientists of the world are also not able to understand what this simple procedure of closing the eyes and becoming thoughtless does to a person that his brain becomes more alert and active than before.

Meditate like Buddha in absolute peace with yourself. Build personality such that people become peaceful and calm when they see you coming. Some people think that meditation is extremely boring but how can anybody explain to them that this is the best way of enjoying life when you are alone.

A person who meditates never feels lonely. In fact he is the most happiest and satisfied person when he is alone. Aloof from all the hustle and bustle of the modern world sitting in silence and enjoying the inner peace which Lao Tse, Buddha, Christ and so many sages of India spoke of. You may miss a cup of tea but never miss a chance to get into meditation. Meditation is absolute bliss and joy.

Why Brush Teeth Twice A Day

Brushing teeth twice a day has been there for quite a long time. There are many people who do not understand why we need to brush our teeth twice a day. Why do the dentists advise us to brush our teeth twice a day? There are many things in our mouth that we are not aware of which includes but is not limited to bacteria. Dentists know this but do not take the headache of explaining these things. Brushing your teeth twice a day reduces your chances of getting halitosis or the bad breath problem which makes people close their nose while you speak to them.

The more we keep our mouth close the more awful does it smell because of the food stuck between our teeth getting rotten due to the effect of these bacterias. Difficult to digest but the food that we eat finally gets broken down by the bacteria in our intestines and hence we get that horrible smell from the stools that we pass. This is the sole reason why our mouth and our stools smell so horrible.

To avoid the bad smell of the stools is definitely not possible but we can definitely prevent the bad breath of our mouth by washing it with fragrant toothpastes. That is the sole reason why everyone tells you to brush your mouth twice a day. It is more advantageous to brush your teeth after every meals.

Washing your mouth three times a day removes all the food that is deposited between the teeth and gives you a fresh and fragrant mouth which encourages people to speak to you. People with halitosis problem should brush their teeth at least four times a day which includes once after getting up from bed and once after every time you eat something. If you follow this simple mantra there will be absolutely no need to use a mouth wash henceforth. Just try brushing your teeth every time after having your meals for a few days and you will definitely be surprised to see the encouraging results.

Reason For Hair Loss And Its Solution


At a very young age many a people are becoming bal and losing their hair. Ever wondered what is the reason for this drastic hair loss? In modern times when people tend to do a lot of hair styling it seems bizarre as to why people lose hair even when they take care of their hair so much. It was most surprising to find out that the actors and actresses are the ones who lose hair very fast, and people are crazy enough to try and copy their hair styles.

Let us take a look at the different reasons why people suffer from hair fall and what are the different ways through which hair loss can be avoided.

The strongest reason for losing hair is shampoo. The stronger the shampoo, more will be the chemicals used. Shampoos giving lot of lather and shampoos which smell very strong with aroma are in general very harmful for your hair. Stop using harsh shampoos immediately. It is better to go for shampoos which claim that they have natural extracts of shikakai and amla. These are best for all types of hair.

The next reason is heat. Not necessarily the heat of the sun, but, heat of the body. The heat of the sun is also one of the major reasons. In case either is true stick to a diet which can cool you down. Something like cucumber, Kokum juice, sugar cane juice. One more soothing solution which can remove the heat from your body is walking on soft lawn grass. Early in the morning when these things have dew drops on them is preferably the ideal time for walking on this grass. Try to minimise non-veg and other food-stuffs which have a lot of spices in them.

Another major reason for hair-fall is too much of thinking. It is common for the man of today to think a lot and to have a very stressful life. Stress gives you many dreadful diseases like high blood pressure, diabetes, etc. If you belong to this category I would suggest you to go for meditation. If you are very busy and want very quick results try Sahaja Yoga meditation. I have seen people change a lot after they come in Sahaja Yoga. Not only do they lose their stress, but, they become so fresh after the meditation that they can easily handle very hectic tasks very easily without much hassles.

Dandruff may also trigger excessive hair loss. Go for a good and mild anti-dandruff shampoo which you can use everyday. Dandruff happens due to a dry scalp. So oil your hair at night and wash them off early in the morning. Some people also lose hair due to heredity. Well, I don't think genes can be altered. But still as an experiment you may give Sahaja Yoga meditation a good try. I am sure you will feel better after seeing the after effects of the meditation. The peace that you enjoy after meditation gives much nourishment to your hair.


Oiling your hair is another very good way to avoid hair loss. It seems absurd and is not supported by doctors, but, fact is a fact. Oil your hair at night and wash them when you wake up in the morning. Who is going to see you when you are sleeping anyway? Try oiling your hair, you will feel a lot better. Diabetes And Its Cure


How is Diabetes caused and how can it be cured: Before knowing this let us know what diabetes actually is. "Diabetes (often referred to as Diabetes Mellitus in the medical sciences) is a condition in which glucose is excreted along with urine, and is also characterized by hypo secretion (low secretion) of insulin which leads to an increase in the blood sugar level."

Diabetes is caused when either of the following conditions hold true:

• Lack of insulin secretion.
• Inadequate amount of insulin is secreted by the pancreas.
• Adequate amount of insulin is secreted, but is not utilized by the cells properly.

There are two major types of Diabetes Mellitus: Type-1 diabetes (also called as juvenile onset diabetes or Insulin dependent diabetes), and, Type-2 Diabetes (also called as non-insulin dependent diabetes).

Role of insulin in blood glucose level regulation and causing Diabetes: Glucagon and insulin are secreted by the alpha and beta cells of the pancreas. Whenever the blood glucose level decreases Glucagon is increased whereas when blood glucose level increases insulin is increased. Of these two, when insulin is secreted by the pancreas, the glucose in the blood becomes free to enter into the cells of our body, where it can be converted into energy or stored in the form of fats. In other words we can say that insulin is the gates pass for the insulin to enter into our cells. On the other hand glucagon stimulates the lever to release glucose which is stored in the form of fats inside our body in case the blood glucose level of our body goes down. And this is how we become thin when we fast. The stored fats inside our body are broken down into glucose which upon the secretion of insulin, enter our body cells thus giving us sufficient energy to do our daily activities.

In diabetes the insulin secretion either stops completely or partially. In some cases, even if adequate amount of insulin is created, the cells do not respond to it properly. In other words even if the insulin is created in sufficient amounts by the pancreas, the body cells fail to utilize them properly. Hence the body cells do not get the required amount of glucose to burn for getting adequate energy. And this is why many diabetes patients become quickly tired if they do not take a regular shot of insulin. As the glucose cannot enter the body cells due to lack of insulin secretions, the glucose builds up inside the blood and flows out through the urine.

It was quite surprising to hear about the exact cause of Diabetes from H.H. Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi, the founder of Sahaja Yoga. According to her, the liver (referred to as right Swadhishthan Chakra in Sahaja Yoga) has many functions. Of these, the two main functions are: supplying fat cells to the brain and taking care of the digestive system (which is its main function). When a person thinks too much and plans a lot about the future, the liver does the function of supplying the necessary fat cells to the hectic brain. If the person keeps on thinking a lot, the liver continuously supplies fat cells to the brain and temporarily halts all other necessary functions. If this state continues for a longer time, the pancreas fail and permanently stop working or work ineffectively. And thus diabetes is caused. She also denies the myth that too much of sugar eating causes diabetes. She says that in India there are a few farmers who do not drink tea if the spoon does not stand at right angles when sugar is put into their tea! And even after drinking so much tea, these farmers never get affected by diabetes. The reason is because they toil hard and do not bother about their future life like the busy city man. It was really surprising to see how a Gurui of ancient thoughts who has studied medical sciences came upon such a wonderful answer even without a microscope or a lab of any sort. She has done no research on this and yet knows a few facts which even the greatest of all scientists do not know. Some scientists stood dumb when they heard about the natural processes that She explained as it occurs in the living beings. She not only answered their doubts but also explained them a few more things which they were unaware of even after doing nearly seven years of research on the respective topics.

Symptoms and effects of Diabetes: People suffering from Diabetes have very weak eye sights. This happens because the retina becomes weak and hence the image perception is not perfect. They become tired very quickly due to lack of energy. The food consumed is not properly utilized by the body. They get digestion problems. More than 90% of Americans suffer from type-2 diabetes. It is found that people suffering from type-2 diabetes are very obese. Hence, obesity is considered to be very dangerous to health. The worse thing about Diabetic patients is that their feet become partially or completely senseless. They wont shout even if you cut their feet, or, in some cases even if you set them on fire. Diabetes patients are advised to take special care of their feet as it does not heal properly. The chances of getting septic feet are very high among diabetic patients. The worst part is: it does not heal quickly.

Precautions to avoid severe Health problems occurring due to Diabetes: In adverse conditions, a diabetes patient may die due to diabetic coma. During their last days diabetic patients become completely blind. Their kidneys stop working. They also suffer from hypertension (high blood pressure). Hence proper care should be taken and one should go to the doctor at least once in a month in order to check his/her blood glucose level if he/she is a diabetic patient. Avoid eating sweets under any circumstances. If at all you eat it, take a higher shot of insulin (slightly more than you usually do). Always keep a chocolate with yourself. Sometimes if you eat less and take a higher dose of insulin, your blood glucose level might suddenly become low and you may feel as if you are starved to death. In order to avoid such a condition, always keep a few chocolates with yourself. Whenever you feel starved out take a small dose of chocolate till you feel better. Always keep a diary or a purse and fill the personal memoranda form. Make sure to state that you are a diabetic patient inside this form. Also write down the name and phone numbers of your family members so that people will be able to contact them, in case any accident occurs to you. This will help the doctor to treat you properly without using much glucose through which certain drugs are injected into the body. Always make it a point to tell the doctor that you are a diabetes patient whenever he gives you a glucose dose.

Solution to Itching red legs


Is the area between your legs itching so much that you feel like scratching it like a mad bull. Are you seeing a red patch growing in the affected area which makes you scratch it like a lunatic person. Then you have come to the right place as I had faced the same problem a few days ago and have now overcome this terrible itch-ache which made the area between my legs red and moist. Let me first tell you how this problem arises and who face these problems the most.

You must have observed that the itching red area is usually very moist. The reason is quite simple. Due to some reason the temperature of the area between your legs gets very hot and hence your sweat glands sweat heavily in order to bring the temperature of the hot skin to normal. As this area becomes warm and moist with your sweat, its chances of getting infected with bacteria increases a lot. Such red itchy patches are also reported to be growing in areas like armpits and the waist (which also sweat a lot). Hence a few people got rid of their itchy red skin by using antibiotics as suggested by their doctors. Whereas a few tried using lotion in the affected area only to worsen the case and scratch more than what they often did. People who run a lot or play a lot or work at places where they sweat a lot (gymnasiums) get these problems usually. People sitting at the same spot with tight undergarments will also suffer with the above said problem. The solution is quite simple.

First of all your sweating has to be controlled. Gym trainers cannot avoid jogging as it was a main part of their cardio exercises. Similarly there are many people who cannot avoid their work till the red itchy skin gets healed. I warn you at the beginning itself: do not use deodorants or body odors at such areas. Doing so might make the condition become even more severe or in some cases complicated enough to confuse your doctor. The skin at the affected area is very delicate and hence deodorant might chemically react and cause new un-restorable complications in your skin.

The best way to get rid of this dirty itchy red skin is to use a talcum powder. Use the powder to dry the affected area. Apply powder to the affected area and go to sleep with the affected area exposed to air as much as possible. This will dry the skin at the earlieast and make you feel more comfortable by the time you get up for your bed coffee. Before going outside apply talcum powder to the area between your legs or to the patch which has become itchy and red. This has worked for me and I am completely confident that it will work for you too.

Do not stop bathing. In fact bathing is required to kill the bacterial infection. Use a good soap which has natural ingredients more and less chemicals. Avoid cosmetic soaps while bathing. If possible use neem soaps or good antiseptic soaps which can kill bacterial infections. If all the above remedies are found to be not-so-effective you should go for the village remedy: Dip neem leaves in hot boiling water and leave it for some time till the juice of neem leaves gets mixed with the water. And now bathe in this antiseptic water (mix fresh water to make it luke-warm). This is the best antiseptic natural remedy to get rid of the dirty red and itchy skin. It was quite surprising to see that most of the doctors are unaware of such problems and are left with blank looks on their faces once they hear such problems. Some doctors told their patients to leave the infection die its natural death. But the torture is so tremendous that you cannot bear even a single more day with it.

As far as clothing habit is concerned: avoid wearing jeans under all circumstances. Wear clothes which will help circulate air throughout your body and keep you dry and clean as far as possible. Avoid underwears with tight straps. As the skin is very delicate, these straps rub hard against them and create more bruises and infections. Avoid wearing tight clothes. Wear loose cotton clothes as far as possible. Always wear a banyan. This soaks the sweat and keeps your body dry. Avoid tight underwears under all conditions.

Eat healthy food. Avoid sweets till the itching stops. Sweets attract more bacteria and make you sweat a lot if the energy consumed is more that the energy requirement of your body. Avoid eating filthy and junk roadside food. Piss and poop regularly. Drink lots of water and urinate a lot. This helps you filter off the bacterias from your body. The patch becomes extremely red and looks very horrifying after a few days. Do not panic. A few antiseptic creams will help. But again creams create the problem of excessive sweating. So use antiseptic powders instead. Powders have proved to be very effective in my case. Exercises to lose fats and become slim

Become slim in just 21 days! Yes it is possible. Many such get slim fast digital books are for sale. But even after purchasing them you are not quite satisfied with the results that you get after following their techniques to lose your body fats and become the cool guy you always wanted to be! Modern trends demand you to have the cool looks and a great slim body so that you get the perfect slim looks which make your presentations a great success.

You also need to cut down the excess fat inside your body so that you look slim. And this needs extra exercise. Keep in mind. With more exercise you will feel hungrier than before. But the key is to maintain the proportion of food consumed constant over the dieting period. Do not succumb to the temptations of your tongue. Once you start losing the extra fats you will always be careful not to build your body fats again and you will always try to maintain the good slim looks. And along with it you will get the freedom to eat junk foods now and then (after becoming slim) and burn the excess unwanted cholesterol with a little bit of daily regular exercise.

If you are very fat and want quick results you need to burn down your body fat drastically. In order to do this you will need acidic substances which will be able to break down the existing stock of fats in your body. And hence start your schedule with reducing your food intake slowly slowly. And at the same time you need to drink lemon juice with just lemon and water and no sugar. Do this only when you are in home. When your body will ask for more energy intake do not eat anything. This might cause a little pain in the stomach. 1. Walking

I choose cycling because you can carry a seat with you wherever you go so that you need not find some place to rest at when you get tired while doing your exercise.

Ten minutes of running is equal to thirty minutes of brisk walking. In the exercise section, all that you need to do is: increase the rate of your heart beat. This helps you in burning more calories. For optimum result you may wear sweater and run when the afternoon sun is out. You can do this in your house as it seems crazy to see someone wearing a sweater and running like mad in the mid-day sun. This is one catalyst which can help you boost the amount of calories that you burn. You need to create sufficient heat so that it becomes easier for your body to burn the fats in your body. And hence if you drink a cup of hot water (very little) it will help you boost the amount of calories that you can successfully burn.

If you are walking walk briskly and walk for at least thirty minutes. I personally feel that five to ten minutes of running is a good way of cutting down the excessive fats stored in your body and become slim in no time. A few actors and actresses also follow this strategy. While cycling it is a better option to avoid sitting on the seat. Sit on the seat only when you are cycling downhill. This will give you some rest. You need to do running or cycling till you feel your heart pounding against your chest. Do not forget to drink lemon water at least three times a day (you can fix the dose as per your requirement). Do not kill yourself. The result will be slow. You will lose significant weight by the end of two weeks. If you are very fat you might need at least a month to see that result. The reason is because fat people cannot push themselves into action immediately. This simple mantra can make tremendous changes within you. Also note that you should not push yourself too hard. Health hazards of obesity

Obesity comes with a huge number of health hazards. The most important health hazards caused due to obesity are:

1. Heart attack: The heart problems that are caused due to obesity are generally termed as Coronary heart diseases. In an obese person, the coronary arteries which supply oxygenated blood to the heart are blocked due to the deposition of fat. Cholesterol, etc in the arteries. Due to this the arteries become narrow and the blood flow decreases. Due to this, the oxygen demand of the body cannot be met. Chances of such a person getting heart attack or chest pain increases. Excessive obesity can also make a person prone to death due to heart attack.

2. Hypertension: Usually this is also called as high blood pressure. Whenever the blood is pumped by the heart, the pumped blood applies a pressure against the wall of the arteries. This pressure is called as blood pressure. As the size of the arteries decreases, this pressure increases. And this condition is termed as hypertension in the medical sciences. Thus obesity triggers the chances of a person to suffer from hypertension.

3. Type 2 Diabetes: Diabetes is a disease where the food consumed (which later breaks down into glucose molecules) is not properly burned to completely convert the consumed food into useful energy. In diabetes the ability of a cell to utilize the insulin secreted by the pancreas in order to convert the glucose molecules into useful energy decreases. In worst cases the insulin secretion stops permanently. Under such conditions the patient is advised to take shots of insulin injection to burn the glucose present in the blood. If this process halts, permanent kidney failure, strokes and lot of other problems can arise. Such a person gets tired very easily and hence consumes more food than his natural requirements. Diabetic patients also have eye problems. In severe cases a person may also turn completely blind.

A few more hazards that are caused sue to obesity are as given below:
• Increasing unwanted body fats.
• Having an abnormal waist.
• The possibility of getting cancer increases.
• The wear and tear in the joints increases. This causes pain at the joints.
• Difficulty in breathing while sleeping if lot of fat is built around the neck.
• Can also cause infertility in women.
• The chances of getting gallstones (stone like materials forming in the bladder) increases.

In order to avoid the above risks you need to cut down your body fats. A sensible step taken now can keep you happy throughout your future. Never consume too much oily foodstuffs. Always do some exercise once in two days (minimum) or twice in a single day (maximum).

What are the causes of obesity?

There are many causes of obesity. The main cause is of course excessive eating. But this habit is caused due to many environmental, genetic and work related factors.

It was quite surprising to see that people who work very hard (on the physical level) actually consume less food as compared to people who have white collar jobs. The reason is because people who work hard eat so that they can work. Overeating makes a person lethargic and hence people who toil physically much harder eat less so that they can work well.

There is mindless eating among people who have a white collar hob. People who do not do much physical work are found to have this bad habit of mindless eating. And this is why it is found that more than 70% of the people doing a white collar job are having a sack filled with unnecessary fat. The following reasons are the most widely recognized reasons which cause obesity among people:

1. Eating when one is not hungry: This is one of the major reasons which make people obese. There are many people who eat for many reasons. Some people eat when they are emotionally disturbed. Some people eat for fun. Some people live to eat. Some others just love junk food. This type of eating is referred to as mindless eating. Some people just fill their stomachs whenever they find some empty gap in it. This has a very bad effect on their digestive systems. Especially their liver. When the liver is overloaded with too many digestive functions it works too hard and finally loses its health. This has an adverse effect on the pancreas. The intake of food is so high that the liver fails to supply enough insulin to burn the whole fat that is consumed. This creates stacks of fat to be stored inside the body which is utilized during starvation conditions.

2. Cooking habits in the family: It is quite natural to see people of same family having the same physique whatsoever. Eating habits are same among family members. Food prepared in the family also plays a significant role in determining the physique of the family members. If the food prepared is made using too much of oil, it is evident why all the family members will have a higher BMI.

3. Excessive intake of sweets and junk foods:

5. Eating more and working less: This is another reason why people become fat. Eat as much as is needed to do your work. In order to make sure that you do not become fatter you need to eat food sufficient enough to do your work. Follow the input=output formula.

6. Genetic reasons: Some people have habitual genes passed from their family which makes them addicted to eating. You can control your mind. Your habits can also be controlled if you have a strong will to achieve a flat stomach in 21 days.

7. Hormonal imbalance: Harmonic imbalance also causes people to eat more. It is found that teenagers find food to be more tasty and delicious because of their hormonal imbalance caused during teenage. It is in this phase that most youngsters get addicted to eating junk food. Some hormone problems such as underactive thyroid, Cushing's syndrome, and polycystic ovarian syndrome may cause overweight and obesity. Imbalance in thyroid hormones also causes obesity.

If you have fat friends poke their stomachs and see how hard they are. If you poke a few stomachs, you will observe that the hardness of the stomachs varies from person to person. So if you thought that the stomachs of fat people are very soft you are wrong. There are two types of fats that accumulate in the body. Of this one makes the stomachs hard and the other makes it soft. The variation of these two fats varies from person to person depending upon their eating habits and body reactions. The fat that makes you tummy soft and beautiful is less harmful as compared to the fat that creates hard tummies. But, the best part is that you can control both these fats by following the same set of exercises.

Your body fats can be controlled very easily. It is very easy for a person to lose fats. It is just that the results are a bit late. At least give yourself one month time over any program that you are following. In fact you can lose much fat even by sitting at the same place. I will explain these techniques later in another article. At present take a look at your BMI Index. Natural stress reduction techniques


The stress levels of people working in metro cities are way too high. May it be a barking boss or the headache of controlling sleazy, lazy or dumb employees. What is more surprising that Indian villagers who toil in their fields day and night never know a thing called as stress or strain. If you do not want to go to stress relieving classes and want to acquaint yourself with a few techniques which can be followed while in the office or home, follow the procedure given below.

1. Anything that hampers your peace and tranquility should be avoided.
2. Listen to soft silent music which can bring your hyperactive brain to normal conditions.
3. Rest for a few minutes after every hour.
4. One simple way to stay calm is to reduce the breath. Breathe in and hold your breath as far as you can. Hold the breath only as long as you feel comfortable with it.
5. Closing your eyes for a short while can also help a lot.
6. Stop thinking for some time. The project will continue only if you stay healthy.
7. Talk to your spouse over the phone. Talking to someone who loves you makes you forget everything for a while.
8. Imagine that you are the only person living on the planet.
9. If your boss shouts at you, imagine that he is dead and you are dancing at his funeral.
10. Do moderate Yogasana and Pranayama exercises. Do not kill yourself with them!
11. If your family life is troubling you, it is time to bring your better half a gift and spend some fun time with each other.

Do not jog. Jogging is an excellent way to increase your stress levels. Everyday jogging is not a good option from any angle. If you are really stressed out at your office you need to stop jogging and go for morning walks. But your morning walk must include walking in the grass with bare feet for at least ten minutes. It has been found that walking on green grass (and also looking at it) makes your eyes feel cool and reduces the burning of stressed eyes.

If you take to too much of walking you are going the wrong way and increasing your stress while trying to decrease it. Let me make myself clear. Jogging is a remedy for those people who are inactive and who cannot put their bodies into immediate action. Thus, if you are active enough to get stressed at your workplace you do not need jogging. And if you are hyperactive and over stressed, jogging is again a big no. People who feel fatigued while working need to bring their cholesterol levels down and hence it is advised to them to go for a little bit of jogging. A stressed person doing jogging early in the morning is exactly like an overheated pan which may catch fire.

IT Stress? Then here is the solution:

No coffee. Coffee boosts your performance for a while and acts like a mild drug which triggers your brain into hyperactive mode. But the effect does not last for a long time. And hence you find many people in the IT industries going for a cup of coffee every hour or so. Coffee makes you feel stress free and fresh for a while but it increases the stress on your stomach. Too much of coffee will increase your chances of getting gastric. But, a brain stimulating beverage makes your brain happy and keeps it active and fresh. In such cases I would suggest you to go for tea. Tea is pretty mild and is also a medicine. I myself drink 300 ml tea whenever I plan for a night-out. The only problem that you might face (if you drink too much of tea) is that you will need to rush to the tinkle zone much frequently. But a little bit of tea will cause you no such trouble and will keep your mind and body healthy and fresh all day long.

Take frequent breaks. Whenever you feel that your body needs a little rest close your eyes till the burning dies out. Sitting for five minutes without thinking will give your brain a good break and it will feel fresh and work at a faster pace. This will also give some break to your tired fingers if you type too many codes or letters everyday. Stretch out and relax your complete body for a while. You will feel much better than before. Keep your eyes more on the keyboard and less on the screen. I type dozens of articles everyday and also write HTML codes sometimes. I do most of it by looking at the keyboard. This reduces the stress on your eyes. When the whole article or piece of code is over, look at the screen and fix your bugs while compiling the program. This will increase your concentration and save most of your time and keep your stress levels quite low. If you compile your program after typing every single line, you are wasting half of your time on something unnecessary and also increasing the stress on your eyes. Type the program top to bottom and then fix the bugs. This will give you the ability to see the whole program and fix the major bugs which require more attention. When you see a whole program, you get a general idea of what you have done and you get to know the exact piece of code which has to be altered. This is a quite effective technique and works very well in reducing your stress levels.

Simple things like maintaining a straight posture and keeping the computer screen as far as possible are very effective in stress reduction. I type tons of articles everyday and have to see the computer screen again and again. My eyes used to burn a lot under the stress it was subjected to at the onset of my web journey. And I spotted the exact reason one fine day. I reduced the brightness of the monitor and the stress on my eyes was reduced by almost three times. If you are going to spend too much time with the computer screen and your keyboard, it will be a good option to reduce the brightness of your screen to around 20% in order to keep the stress levels of your eyes low. Keep the background color blue if this option is present. Blue does not create much stress on your eyes and your eyes feel happy while watching the computer screen. At other times you may increase the brightness of the screen. Though this may seem to be a headache it is a very good tip to reduce the stress of your eyes which have to fight with the harsh computer screens everyday.

Sitting as far as possible from the computer is a good way of reducing your stress. The screen should be at least two feet away from your eyes. All the computer cables should be thrown to the farthest corner. It has been discovered that Electromagnetic waves flowing across these cables can create heart problems. Hence it is also a good option to keep you mobiles in the pocket of your trousers (away from the heart).

Take your time to see green trees. The green of nature makes your eyes feel very pleasant and will slowly drain its stress levels. Use eye drops no matter what your doctor says. It is a simple thing to understand: if you use eye drops your eyes will remain stronger for a longer time which will keep you away from the optician for many years. And hence your optician will look forth to make sure that you keep visiting him again and again by saying that you do not need eye drops. This will keep his pockets happy. Simple business! So, do not listen to anybody and use eye drops. Prevention is better than cure. If possible it is advisory to buy monochromatic powerless spectacles which keep UV rays away from your eyes and also protect it from the bright monitors.



One more thing: do not let your scalp become dry. Oiling the scalp will keep your eyes cool and your healthy eyes will be devoid of stress. The stress on a person’s eye who does not apply oil to his hair while watching a computer screen is much higher as compared to the stress on a person’s eye who has oiled his hairs. Non-sticky oils will also play the trick if you hate sticky oils. But as far as I know meditation is the best technique for stress reduction. Stress relief


Getting stressed out is a very common phenomenon these days. Sitting in front of the computer and making your brain work for almost around ten hours a day is one of the best examples of a hectic lifestyle. What is called as a white collar job is much more difficult to handle as compared to a black collar job. But, how do you relieve yourself of all this stress.

Scientists have proved that sleep is not sufficient to relieve your mind of the stress that it is subjected to in your everyday life. Sleep may bring relief to your body, but your eyes and mind will not be able to bear the stress that they are subjected to. You need something more to shoo your stress away. But, what is this something which can evacuate your stress?

You need to absorb nature’s energy in order to relieve the stress which is pressurizing your mind. And the best way to absorb this energy is to go into meditation. But, with so many meditation techniques it is impossible to find the best one around. Some people take to Pranayama and yet others stick on with Yogasanas to relieve their stress. But of the three techniques, meditation is the most effective one. I have tried all the above methods and I know which solution works the best for relieving one’s stress. If you do not know me, let me tell you something about myself. Everyday I spend a minimum of seven to ten hours on the internet and have not met Mr.Spectacles till today! I read a lot of ebooks on the computer and use one of the most outdated LCD monitors on my computer. Some of you might have seen a few documentaries made by scientists regarding astral bodies and meditation for stress relief which are half true and half false.

It is true that meditation can relieve your mind of its stress. But there is a particular procedure for going into meditation. You cannot meditate. Meditation is the state where your mind is resting. When the mind rests it gets relief form its stress. And, the best meditating technique that I have seen so far is Sahaja Yoga meditation. You might have attended a few stress relief seminars from other Yoga maestros. But the minus point of the other Yoga’s is that they demand both time and money. Whereas, in Sahaja Yoga you need not sacrifice any of these things in order to relieve yourself of your stress. To be more specific Sahaja Yoga is a technique of getting into the state of meditation which demands only twenty minutes of time in your daily schedule. Ten minutes of meditation in the morning and ten minutes of mediation in the evening and your stress will go out of the doors and windows of your house. And on top of this I ensure you a sound sleep if you dip your feet in a trough of water containing salt water while you go into meditation at night before going to sleep. The reason is because when you lose your ego you miss the “I”, which was doing the work till now. And how can you get stressed when you do no work at all. H.H. Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi says that a Sahaja Yogi enters the dimension of Akarma, i.e. even if he does a lot of work he never feels as if he is doing something! And by far, this is the best way of relieving yourself of your stress. Actually you get devoid of stress when you enter into the dimensions of a Sahaja Yogi. The point is, if you are not working at all, how can you get stressed?

There are a lot of other benefits that you get from Sahaj Yoga. Stress relief is just one benefit. If you are addicted to alcohol, tobacco or even sex, you can be freed from your habits within a day. But it requires a little bit of faith. There are three states of mind: ego, super-ego and completely balanced state. A person who feels guilty all the time and thinks too much about the past, is in the super-ego state. The one who thinks too much about the future and leads a very hectic lifestyle is in the state of ego. A person who does not think and stays in the present tense is a balanced person. All the imbalances in our life are caused due to the ego and super-ego states. In the balanced state one does not feel any pressure or stress as he does not think about his past or his future. How to meditate?


Many people who meditate everyday are also put into this same query: How to meditate? The answer is pretty simple. You just cannot meditate! Meditation is a state of thoughtlessness. Thus you can only be in the state of meditation. Many people have discovered and preached a number of methods for going into the state of meditation. But all of them are not so rewarding. Some methods are very tedious and can even cause serious mental and physical disorders. But if you follow the right procedure you will see a very beautiful and peaceful life as a reward for your penances.

For those of you who have seen the documentary which speaks of astral bodies, pyramid meditation and all such things let me tell you that it is the other side of meditation which people do not usually see in their lives. these facts (as they call it) might be scientifically proved but Meditation and science are two completely different things. Let me make your doubts clear regarding these scientific discussions. Most recently I saw an old documentary on Yoga and was quite surprised to see that scientists have stepped into this field and have supported ideas which they do not even know about. In order to get a deep insight into this knowledge I had to go through a few books which spoke about black magic. In the documentary they spoke of a universally distributed energy which can be absorbed by the body during meditation. Till here science was right but further the scientists used their brain and ruined the whole show. They related this energy with the energy emitted from the sun and described pyramid meditation where people sit in a pyramid with a base built at a fixed proportion where maximum energy of the nature is focused. They fix some sort of a crystal at the top of the pyramid which concentrates the energy of the nature at the base where the people are supposed to go into meditation. And then science became even more stupid by saying that the energy is basically hot in nature whereas it is actually the other way round. I will elaborate this point later, but , for now let me tell you that the pyramid thing is absolute rubbish and it will give you nothing special. The reason why the scientists used heat as a sign of energy transfer is because they saw the name: energy centers. These are also referred to as Chakras in India. And the only form of energy which the scientists believed to have existed is the energy of the Sun which is hot in nature. But in actual the person who absorbs the Divine energy feels a cool sort of breeze running throughout his body. Remember the saying of Christ (Our Lord)- cool breeze of the holy ghost. Remember the words of Shri Aadi Shankaracharya- saleelam saleelam (a cool breeze). And if you are a Muslim the Holy Prophet- Mohammed had referred to this same breeze as Ruh. At least this thing you should be assured of- that the Divine energy gives you a cool feel when you absorb it. Whereas if you refer to the works of the people who do black magic you will come to know that a hot air running throughout your body signifies the strong presence of a Satan around you. So please be careful. God knows magic but does not do it. It is only a Satanic force which can show magic, because it is only a Satan which can gain the trust of people by showing things of wonder. God does miracles but does not disclose His face because He is very generous humble and kind. Showing off by doing extraordinary things is only a Satanic behavior.

Now let me tell you something about the astral body illusion. The astral body thing is an absolute fake. They say that your astral body is the reflection of your spirit. But the spirit itself is a reflection of something: your Kundalini. When a child is in its mother’s womb the divine energy flows through the child’s head and rushes towards the base of its spine through three channels (also referred to as nadis). These channels are nothing but the central, left and right nervous systems. While going towards the base of the spine (a little above the fontanelle bone) where it resides, it leaves it reflection behind in the child’s heart. This is said to resemble a flame which looks just like the thumb. And this is the thing which is actually referred to as the spirit. Hence, a person can survive a heart transplant operation. The reason is because the life is not situated there. It (the heart) holds just the reflection of ones soul which is actually the Kundalini (it resembles the form of a serpent coiled into three and a half coils). If the dust on this mirror is cleaned a person can see his reflection in it. And along with his reflection he will also see God’s reflection within himself. So an astral body which roams throughout the Universe is just a myth. The things which you see in your meditation are not true unless you are connected with God Almighty. If at all you see something very strange in your meditation, then it is your myth or imagination. You may also call these as the mirages which are seen on your spiritual path. So it is better not to see or imagine any unnecessary things while you are trying to go into the state of meditation.

Now let me tell you about the people who promise you great things and instead take great things away from you. You need not give away your property to a Guru in order to get your realization. In fact what you need the most is a determined heart and a true Guru. i.e. you need a Guru who is interested in your spiritual growth and not in his own bank-balance growth. There are great Gurus in India who are found staying in the mountains in search of spirituality. If you seek spirituality and end up into their ashrams they will not demand money from you. Instead they will demand a little bit of work from you in order to assure proper working of the ashrams that they live in. This is the sign of a true Guru. But nowadays I am quite surprisingly seeing Gurus who show Guru Purana to their disciples in which it is clearly written that you should dedicate your body mind and wealth to your Guru. Quite surprisingly I have seen people who call themselves as Gurus and take all these things from their disciples. In some cases I have also heard of cases where the Gurus are having sex with their own disciples. In reality a disciple is said to be the daughter or son of a Guru. And two children studying at the same ashram are said to be brothers and sisters. And hence a Guru should not even think about having sex with his disciples. If somebody is doing so it is anti-divine. And it has been clearly written in the Puranas that such a person is known to die with a massive heart attack. Hence it is always better to stay away from such things as far as possible. So beware of such Gurus. And do not take to celibacy under any condition. A celebate stays an incomplete person throughout his life. So do not go into such extremes. None of it is required to go into meditation.

Now let me come to the main point. Going into meditation is very easy. There are many ways of going into meditation. But not all of them are helpful. The first technique is the one told by Shri Krishna where you have to stop your thoughts and concentrate on the region between your two eyebrows. But remember: you just need to keep your attention there. If you concentrate your vision at that region you will get a massive headache at the begging and may also get squinted eyes if you follow the wrong procedure. With your attention at the region between your eyebrows breathe in and breathe out for equal amount of time. If you are getting a headache while meditating discontinue. You should never get a headache while meditating. Meditating should relieve your mental stress and not amplify it. Now in the above mentioned state try to visualize your lovable Deity. Take His name praise Him, do anyting you like in order to please Him. Try to visualize yourself washing the lotus Feet of God Almighty. Surrender yourself and try to give something to your Deity. This will give you a feeling of satisfaction that you have given something to your Deity. But truly speaking this is a very long time process and will require you to spend lots of time in order to achieve your self-realisation.

There was some other thing I heard of. One was Sudarshana Kriya and the other was Chakra meditation. In one of these you use a few breathing techniques in order to purify your breath. While in the other one you look at a few charts with some symbols and dots on them. Then they perform a thing called as trataka. Trataka is the process of continuously staring at something. But friends of mine who follow these techniques are known to be very arrogant. They are so arrogant that they do not look back to even bite their sisters when in a fist of rage. And hence I am not going to recommend either of the above processes. People following these techniques are devoid of love and lead a very strict and deserty lifestyle just like a military man. Some also follow things like celibacy and a strict diet which does not include spices and condiments.

The best and the easiest way of getting your self-realisation is through Sahaja-Yoga and you can count me on this. Sahaja Yoga is a very unique technique taught by H.H. Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi to get your self-realisation within a few minutes. Fifteen minutes of a sincere exercise can save your life. Getting into meditation is very easy in Sahaja Yoga. You just sit in a thoughtless state in front of H.H. Shri Mataji NIrmala Devi’s Photograph and you can feel you chakras becoming clear on your fingertips. If any chakra within you has the shadows of some Satanic forces within it you will be able to feel a pinch or a hot breeze flowing on a respective finger which is connected to that particular chakra on the nervous system. Recently a study has revealed that an infinite amount of energy flows out of Shri Mataji’s photograph. It is just that you should be able to grasp it. And  the only way you can absorb this energy is through meditation. if you have a humble heart the heat that you can feel on your fingertips should gradually cool down. The Kundalini is said to be like a furnace which burns away all the Satanic forces in you. And hence the heat that you feel in this case will be flowing out of your hands. It is usually observed that you can feel cool on at least one particular hand. Some people have also reported a magnetic force trying to pull something out of their hands when they open their palm and hold their hands towards Shri Mataji’s photograph. In a recent study a patients health reports showed improvement in the statistics when the patient was made to hold H.H. Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi’s photograph in her hand. Prevent Bad Breath | Halitosis


    Many people suffering from bad breath problems (Halitosis) have no idea that they have a smelling mouth unless somebody informs them.

    Chronic Halitosis is a condition in which a person produces a very bad and offensive odour from his/her oral/nasal regions. The most commonly found morning breath that most people experience is not true Halitosis. There is no age, sex, race or socio-economic boundary when it comes to halitosis.

    Causes: On an average, every person has nearly around 800 types of bacteria in his/her mouth. Of these, certain types of bacteria promote bad breath by first and foremost breaking down the leftover proteins from the food particles, dead cells and mucous into amino acids. In order to extract energy from these amino acids, the bacteria further dissect these molecules, thus causing them to release volatile Sulphuric gases. In actual it is not the bacteria which emits foul odour, instead it is the reaction between the food eaten and the oral bacteria that sets it off.

    Though our saliva serves as a natural mouthwash, it is not produced in sufficient quantity while we are sleeping. Hence you get a bad breath the moment you wake up. Medication can also be held responsible for promoting bad breath (Halitosis). Antidepressants, antihistamines as well as painkillers can trigger the possibilities of giving you a dry mouth as a side effect.

    Medical reasons for getting bad breath (Halitosis): Problems like sinus infections/abnormalities, tonsil infection/tonsillitis, lung diseases, kidney diseases, liver diseases, blood disorders, diabetes, gall bladder dysfunction, menstruation and carcinomas can also trigger the chances of getting a bad breath (Halitosis).

    Dental reasons for getting bad breath (Halitosis): Extensive dental decay, periodontal gum disease, oral infection or abscesses, oral cancers, xerostomia (dry mouth conditions), oral conditions resulting from post nasal drips or discharges, allergy conditions and a proliferation of specific types of gram-negative anaerobic bacteria are also among the list of causes of bad breath (Halitosis).

    Symptoms of Bad Breath (Halitosis): A white or yellow film on the tongue, dry mouth, bitter, sour, or metallic tastes, post nasal drainage, white nodules on the tonsils are the general symptoms.

    Home Remedies:
1. Brush with baking soda to reduce the acidity in the mouth.
2. Brush and rinse using Hydrogen Peroxide when you don’t have upper respiratory infections. But do not swallow it under any circumstances.
3. Gargle with lukewarm salt water.
4. Avoid eating foods with refined carbohydrates and sugars like cookies, sweets, cakes, carbonated soft drinks, ice-creams and syrups.
5. Drink sufficient amount of water (at least 6 to 8 glasses) everyday.
6. Brush teeth two times a day (especially before going to bed).
7. Mix a teaspoon of Fenugreek seeds to a litre of water, simmer for 15 minutes, strain and drink as tea.
8. Exercise and eat fibre rich food in order to prevent constipation.
9. Chew unripe guava fruit or its tender leaves. This prevents bad breath (Halitosis) and gum bleeding.
10. Eat avocado to prevent decomposition of the intestines.

    Treatments:
1. Brush your teeth and floss regularly. When cleaning your mouth pay special attention to the back of your tongue. Brush or else use a tongue scrapper as far back as you can.
2. Use a mouth wash at night. Rinsing at night prepares you for a fresher-smelling morning.
3. Drinking water throughout the day washes away bacteria and other particles which promotes Halitosis.

Body building has become a great trend and is found to be most popular with the modern youth. This time we at modern trends went to different gyms and met the greatest builders there. Read on to know their body building secrets and the workouts needed to get an awesome muscular body.

For the first time in my life I went to the gym in order to collect the information and facts about great body building secrets as followed by the Bollywood celebrities. Prakash a very close friend of mine, who looked very thin and weak, removed his shirt and I saw those beautiful cuts around his ribs. He had a very cool body and looked just great without a shirt on his chest. He had muscular ripples all over his body and looked very strong. I decided to do my body building workouts under his guidance.

Many youngsters do workouts for building a good body but their bodies are so out of proportion that the personality as a whole does not look so impressive. Some attend the gymnasium since a very long time but are unable to get those great cuts on their body, reason being, they do not follow procedure. All those who have done many body building workouts, and, yet haven’t got any significant body muscles, need to consult the gym master without feeling shy (after all he is being paid for it). You cannot advance in this field without the help of senior body builders. This is one of the fields where experience matters a lot.

Now let us take a look at the basic body building steps. First of all, you should be quite slim to initiate a body building schedule. If you have a tummy, better start with cycling or the jogging machine (I have used simple words so that everybody understands what I am speaking about). When you think that your body has achieved a good proportion, start with the body building process. The reason is because, in body building, the most important factor is to lose the fats accumulated in your body. This makes the cuts on your stomach and chest clearly visible. I have seen some friends of mine wearing sweaters and running around in the afternoon sun. I thought they were crazy and I was right: they really were crazy about body building. Also, if you are very thin you need to improve your diet. You need to eat a lot in order to tone your body and achieve the right expected proportionate body. If you are too thin, you can easily build your six pack abs by doing a little bit of abdomen exercise at your home. But, if you want those cool biceps and triceps decorating your arms consider eating like the poultry animals and toiling in the gym like a mad bull.

The whole body building process is based on these two simple facts. This once achieved will give you very good results in your body building workouts. Now let us take a quick look at the myths encountered in this field:

1. “Heavy workouts give bulky muscles”. This is the worst myth around. It isn’t heavy workout which is important it is a heavy weight which is more important. You need to increase the weight of the apparatus you are using in order to achieve good body building results. Your muscles will start blowing out when you become harder. In order to become more hard and strong you need to upgrade the weight of your dumbbells. The more weight you lift the stronger you become. Greater the force you apply during your workouts, greater will be the size of your muscles. So, lifting twenty kilograms a hundred times wont give you even half the effect of lifting fifty kilograms a mere two times.

2. “A pain after or during the workouts means that you are doing a good workout”. This is absolutely false. In fact if you are getting a pain it denotes that you are not doing your body building workouts in a proper manner. Do not be too harsh with your body. Doing this has many a times ripped the muscles of many great builders.

3. “Working a little bit with all the apparatus is a good solution”. It is not so. If you think that not using all the apparatus will waste your money you are right. But if you think that “if I do not use all the apparatus everyday my money will be wasted”, let me tell you that you are absolutely wrong. Is it the money which is more important or the final product which comes out of the gym? Read the following paragraph and find out why many a people going to the gym do not get the expected results in their body building programs.

The reason is quite simple. Many people use all the apparatus lying around in the gym. This is a very bad way of working out. I did it too, but now I have rectified my mistakes. It is advised to work on one specific part of your body each day. Say today you use all the equipment which will tone your chest, then, tomorrow use all the apparatus which tones your shoulders. Day after tomorrow work on your chest and so on. Always work systematically. Fat guys should do more workouts on their chest and arms to get a few quick results. Whereas those who are thin should work more on the abdominal area. This will give quick body building results which will be visible to everybody. If you take a lot of stress during your workouts your face will start changing and look very ugly. So do not squeeze the hell out of yourself to get the desired effect as quickly as possible. After all, a good face is also important.

A new study has revealed that regular yoga practice promotes mindful. And it is a matter of fact, as we all know, that those who eat mindfully are less likely to become fat. What is mindful eating? It is a state of mind where we have our complete attention towards our stomach. So if our stomach is full, we feel it and stop eating. Now let us plunge a bit more deeply into this topic.
The study led by Dr Alan Kristal, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Centre, showed that regular yoga practice may help prevent middle-age tummies in normal weight people and also reduce the tummies of over-weight people.
The researchers suspected that the weight loss effect is due to sensitivity towards hunger and satiety i.e. if your stomach is full you get to know that you are satisfied and you stop eating. This is quite uncommon among young people. They eat and eat with no attention towards, what they are eating, and how much they are eating. You might be surprised to know that the workers who do heavy physical activities at the building construction sites eat just as much as is necessary for them. All they eat is some 300-400 grams of food as compared to the non-stop eating of the present day generation. Chats are actually a place where such behavior of youngsters is clearly visible. I will speak about this later.
Doctor Kristal further said, “In our earlier study, we found that middle-age people who practice yoga gained less weight over a ten year period than those who did not.” Again he has stressed the same point that there is mindless eating found in the youth who do not practice yoga. So, the key point is that we should have attention towards our eating habits and eat just as much as is necessary to fill our stomachs. Later he added that, “This was independent of physical activity and dietary patterns. We hypothesized mindfulness (a skill learned either directly or indirectly through yoga) could affect eating behavior.”
Psychology has actually revealed that there are certain people who eat out of anxiety, anger or even depression. Now let me continue the chat topic that I had left in the previous paragraph. It is found that if we like something we eat it continuously till we are filled upto the brim. This is a very bad habit. It is a fact known to many, that some blank space in the stomach is necessary for the process of digestion. So if we fill ourselves completely upto the brim the food will not be digested properly. So take care that you have some space left in your stomach after drinking water. This is the secret of the perfect diet and digestion. But eating too less is also not good. It will give you a very weak physique which will definitely not be admired by many. Your physique should be such that your clothes seem to be filled with your body. Or else you will resemble a skeleton covered with a few pieces of cloth. So take care of your diet and eat mindfully. And never gobble the food hastily. This is also a very bad habit. Take care.
