Girls are so crazy about these celebrities that they wish to have a husband or a boyfriend who has got a dimple on his cheek. Mahindra and Mahindra the automobile giant of India has now taken the decision to buy stake in an electric car company: Reva (which has its origins in Bangalore India). And it has done it for the right reason.

Reva is an electric car which is designed for the commuting person. If you think that buying an electric car is not worth the thrill it provides, think again. I myself thought that the Reva car would not have much to give to its interested audience, but I found my opinion to be completely wrong when I took a look at the engine specifications of this special car.

There are three versions of Reva: Reva standard, Reva AC and Reva Classe. And the specification goes as follows:

• Reva is a small and compact car which is ideal for commuting if you live in cities.

• It take nearly 6-8 hours to charge its battery completely (you may charge it when you are sleeping).

• Once fully charged the Mahindra Reva car will run for 70-80 kms. This signifies a good mileage rating for a car used for commuting purposes.

• You literally shell out 0.50 rupees for every kilometer traveled with the Mahindra Reva car.

• The rear seats are fold-able. This will give you much space for keeping extra luggage into the car.

• The car is said to have only two seats. A Reva car with four seats is yet to be released in the Indian market. The seats are reported to be comfortable for long drives.

How useful is Bing as an Search Engine? If you would this question to me, I would say, that Bing is one of the most intelligent Search Engines around. The idea of the Bing search Engine is quite unique. Some people think that Bing is just another Search Engine on the internet. But, Bing is something more. If you think that Google is the best Search Engine around change your mind. There are many Search engines which compete almost neck to neck with Google. The only plus point on the side of Google as compared to the other search engines is that it has many sites indexed in its Search index. If this is a plus point on one side, it is a huge minus point on the other. With an index of so many websites, Google finds it difficult to rank the pages that it has indexed. And this is where Bing pushes itself a bit further in the race.With less number of sites indexed, Bing ranks a webpage depending on the relevancy of all the wepages (of the same site) that the searched webpage is linking to.

Bing is an intelligent and practical innovation and not just another search engine. The user interface of Bing is quite clean. When i say Bing doesnt it make you think about something quite different as cmpared to the other search engines? Do you remember a pop-up window which pops up when you hover your mouse over a particular article? This is the first intelligent innovation of Bing. If you think that this pop-up tells you nothing different than the information which appears below the link of the article being searched by you, reconsider your opinion. The article which you see below the link in the Bing Search Engine is the Meta-Tag description of the webpage (this is a description of the webpage as given by the webmaster) and the piece of window which pops out when you hover your mouse over it is a small snippet taken from the article written by the webmaster. And this pop-up is the option which saves pretty much of your time while searching something using a Search Engine. And thus many cognizent people stick to Bing because of this unique option provided by it. If you use Google or any other Search Engine you literally need to end up on the web-page in order to know the information the webpage is specifically providing to you. Whereas in Bing you get to see a portion of the web-page which in turn lets you know if this webpage contains the piece of information which you are looking out for or not. And this is what makes Bing an intelligent search Engine. If this window does not open up quickly after hovering over the link, just click the vertical grey bar that is visible at the extreme right end of the link. This will make the snapshot of the webpage appear faster.

Maybe Bing is not as fast as Google (it is pretty fast though). But the links that pop up on the first page are either too useful or unuseful. And this is where Bing loses the race to the likes of Google and Yahoo. The only reason why Bing is lagging behind Google is because it does not have much sites indexed in its database. But those that are present are quite different as compared to those appearing on Google. The reason is simple: Google used a system called as page rank to rank the pages of website in its search Engine. The only way that the webmasters can increase their site rank is by getting links from the other webmasters. So if i have a low quality site with too many backlinks to my site from othe sites i will be ranking high on the Google search pages. And this is what make Bing a bit more intelligent when compared to Google. I have seen many sites with quite low google page ranks appearing on the front page of Bing. This eventually tells us that Bing is not much bothered about the Google page rank of any website. If you like reading and searching for blogs Bing is not the right search Engine because it ranks the .com, .net and .org sites much higher than those which are having a .blogspot.com domain name. The reason is because Microsoft considers these sites to be professional websites which is true on one hand and false on the other. Many people just love Blogger blogs. And Bing definitely has to reconsider this opinion.

Moreover in my research I have found that the sites popping up on the front pages of Bing are slightly more relevant to the content I was searching for. Even if the content is not so relevant I will be saving hours of useful time as I will not have to open each and every webpage in order to see if the content is relevant to the one I am searching for.

In my opinion Bing is a great time saver even if you are searching content for downloading it from the internet. Especially if you are searching for pdf files for doing some sort of research, Bing is exactly the search engine that suits your task the best. If the information that you are searching for is not so widely known or searched for by people, you have to reluctantly go for Google search engine. But Google will waste your time if the webmaster throws tempting meta tags which make you click on them just to see that there is no useful information you are searching for on that page. Other than that Google is definitely good. And, of course Google dominates the Internet Market when it comes to Search Engine popularity. The only strong competition to Google so far is the Baidu search engine. And its popularity has been maintained by its Chinese fans who make up a majority of the internet population.

I personally like Bing for the intelligent earch Engine it has provided us with. The population of Bing users had increased just after it had been released. But, over time the Search Engine slowly lost its popularity among the Internet users to the likes of Google and Yahoo because of the other popular services provided by them (which majorly includes the chatting facility). As intelligent users it is our responsibility to help this wonderful Search Engine called Bing survive, by keeping in mind the wonderful time-saving facility it provides us with. With a few tweaks Bing will definitely see days when its fans will start using the phrase "Bing it up" for searching something.

The sports cars have a very unique combination which makes them quite unique. A concept car of Porsche is said to push the car to a speed of 100kmph within a time span of 3.2 seconds. And it really gets on our nerves whenever we hear such a thing. The GPS system provided in the car is another great advantage to the drivers as they will be guided along the right all around the country without getting lost. Why Do I Need Higher Education?

What is the need to go for higher education? This is a question which is asked by many students while pursuing their degree. Many students are not aware of the things that they miss if they do not opt for higher education. After doing a degree in Engineering many students search for a job. And once they start earning the urge to study further dies completely. But these students do not realize what they lose if they do not go for higher education.

Some students think that experience will yield them a higher seat and as usual they are wrong while thinking so. I have all means of justifying my opinion. Students who get higher marks are known to work harder whereas students who score average and below average in some cases are smart students who know the real world as it is around them. The company thinks: who will be much better in analyzing a complex circuit of interconnected wires than an electrical engineer. But, hey! Do you study electrical subjects for four years just in order to end up with a job which has nothing to do with what you have studied. I have seen companies demanding candidates who have 10+2 certificates for the same post (provided that he/she has completed a Hardware and networking course from a reputed institute).

See! And this is where higher education plays its role in giving you what you deserve the best. With a master degree you will be able to specifically target your field of interest. All you need to do is get your master degree and submit a resume at Monster.com. That’s it! 90% of the job is over. How To Design A Logo?

Hence decreasing either the height or the width of the logo will alter the other dimension in accordance with the predefined proportion which is automatically detected by your computer. That’s it! Your logo is ready to go live on the web!

What is the connection between money and money plant? Seriously speaking, I thought there was none. But then I bounced upon a few interesting articles which spoke about the stories of this little plant.

What is a money plant: This is a small plant that can be easily grown in areas like bedroom or kitchen where there is very little light. This plant requires very little care and is hence loved by people who know about the basics of growing this plant. All that it needs to grow a money plant is a single leaf stuck into the loose porous soil inside a pot. Water it once in two days and you are done. The plant requires very little sunlight (if kept inside the home). If grown in a large pot it grows pretty well but you should know how often to water it, how much to water it, etc. This tree has only water filled within its leaves. But too much of water may create reverse osmosis and the plant will wither and die. So it is better to water it as much as is required.

Why grow a money plant: This little plant is promoted by Feng Shui which states that this is the elements balancing plant. According to Feng Shui all the major five elements of nature should be present in equal proportions inside a room. If not, this little plant will balance out the missing element as it has all the five elements in it (that’s what I heard). It is believed that this plant gives five leaves (that’s what I heard) and a plant with five or greater number of leaves signifies good fortune. But, in actual I have seen this plant grow as long as possible with large number of leaves. It is a creeper and can grow along the trunk of a tree as high as possible (that’s what I have seen). This plant is also found to grow in clear water. Even then, it is a better option to grow it in soil with little water supplied to it in every two days. Which actually means that this plant requires very little care. Hence it can be grown by people living in cities too. It requires very little sunlight and is happier in areas where filtered sunlight is available (but not too harsh).

Story behind the money plant: The money plant has a predictable story. There was a person who was completely misfortunate in everything he tried. He got a money plant (which was given to him by god after listening to his prayers). He grew this plant with utmost care and his fortune was turned upside down (or rather downside up). I don’t know why, but this plant must be a special one in order to have such a wonderful name. I have also observed that either it is the richer people who grow this plant or people grow this plant and become richer (that’s how the probable myth grows). Of the stories that I saw some seemed original in the light of fiction whereas others seemed to be stories created by people selling this plant in order to make good profit out of it (and hey they got it!). Even if we leave the fortune part aside, it always feels good to have a plant in our rooms. It gives the touch of nature to our rooms. I also heard that this plant makes people become romantic (that might be predicted by taking a look at its heart shaped leaves). It is quite surprising to see that a plant which grows with so much ease brings luck in the form of money and love to the house, whereas, a person toiling so hard in the lands gets money enough for just fulfilling his families hunger.

A few more suggestions for growing the money plant: The money plant must be pruned if you want it to grow like a bush. Else you may take it to the terrace, keep it at a place which receives less sunlight and let it hang down from the parapet wall. Let it hang down in a direction where direct sunlight is absent. This gives a very beautiful look to the house. There is no reason why one should not plant a money plant in his room. I am growing mine. One thing is noticeable that this plant grows very quickly under favorable conditions. And, if it is said to bring luck to our fortune, why not grow it.

Diabetes And Its Cure

How is Diabetes caused and how can it be cured: Before knowing this let us know what diabetes actually is. "Diabetes (often referred to as Diabetes Mellitus in the medical sciences) is a condition in which glucose is excreted along with urine, and is also characterized by hypo secretion (low secretion) of insulin which leads to an increase in the blood sugar level."

Diabetes is caused when either of the following conditions hold true:

• Lack of insulin secretion.

• Inadequate amount of insulin is secreted by the pancreas.

• Adequate amount of insulin is secreted, but is not utilized by the cells properly.

There are two major types of Diabetes Mellitus: Type-1 diabetes (also called as juvenile onset diabetes or Insulin dependent diabetes), and, Type-2 Diabetes (also called as non-insulin dependent diabetes).

Role of insulin in blood glucose level regulation and causing Diabetes: Glucagon and insulin are secreted by the alpha and beta cells of the pancreas. Whenever the blood glucose level decreases Glucagon is increased whereas when blood glucose level increases insulin is increased. Of these two, when insulin is secreted by the pancreas, the glucose in the blood becomes free to enter into the cells of our body, where it can be converted into energy or stored in the form of fats. In other words we can say that insulin is the gates pass for the insulin to enter into our cells. On the other hand glucagon stimulates the lever to release glucose which is stored in the form of fats inside our body in case the blood glucose level of our body goes down. And this is how we become thin when we fast. The stored fats inside our body are broken down into glucose which upon the secretion of insulin, enter our body cells thus giving us sufficient energy to do our daily activities.

In diabetes the insulin secretion either stops completely or partially. In some cases, even if adequate amount of insulin is created, the cells do not respond to it properly. In other words even if the insulin is created in sufficient amounts by the pancreas, the body cells fail to utilize them properly. Hence the body cells do not get the required amount of glucose to burn for getting adequate energy. And this is why many diabetes patients become quickly tired if they do not take a regular shot of insulin. As the glucose cannot enter the body cells due to lack of insulin secretions, the glucose builds up inside the blood and flows out through the urine.

It was quite surprising to hear about the exact cause of Diabetes from H.H. Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi, the founder of Sahaja Yoga. According to her, the liver (referred to as right Swadhishthan Chakra in Sahaja Yoga) has many functions. She has done no research on this and yet knows a few facts which even the greatest of all scientists do not know. She not only answered their doubts but also explained them a few more things which they were unaware of even after doing nearly seven years of research on the respective topics.

Symptoms and effects of Diabetes: People suffering from Diabetes have very weak eye sights. This happens because the retina becomes weak and hence the image perception is not perfect. They become tired very quickly due to lack of energy. The food consumed is not properly utilized by the body. They get digestion problems. More than 90% of Americans suffer from type-2 diabetes. It is found that people suffering from type-2 diabetes are very obese. Hence, obesity is considered to be very dangerous to health. The worse thing about Diabetic patients is that their feet become partially or completely senseless. They wont shout even if you cut their feet, or, in some cases even if you set them on fire. Diabetes patients are advised to take special care of their feet as it does not heal properly. The chances of getting septic feet are very high among diabetic patients. Precautions to avoid severe Health problems occurring due to Diabetes: In adverse conditions, a diabetes patient may die due to diabetic coma. During their last days diabetic patients become completely blind. Their kidneys stop working. They also suffer from hypertension (high blood pressure). Hence proper care should be taken and one should go to the doctor at least once in a month in order to check his/her blood glucose level if he/she is a diabetic patient. Avoid eating sweets under any circumstances. If at all you eat it, take a higher shot of insulin (slightly more than you usually do). Always keep a chocolate with yourself. Sometimes if you eat less and take a higher dose of insulin, your blood glucose level might suddenly become low and you may feel as if you are starved to death. In order to avoid such a condition, always keep a few chocolates with yourself. Whenever you feel starved out take a small dose of chocolate till you feel better. Always keep a diary or a purse and fill the personal memoranda form. Make sure to state that you are a diabetic patient inside this form. Also write down the name and phone numbers of your family members so that people will be able to contact them, in case any accident occurs to you. This will help the doctor to treat you properly without using much glucose through which certain drugs are injected into the body. Always make it a point to tell the doctor that you are a diabetes patient whenever he gives you a glucose dose.

After this small tweak in Opera’s settings you will be able to access all the .blogspot.com blogger blogs which you were unable to access before. I don’t know why ISP’s do this but they do it. They block the access to all the .blogspot.com domain blogs at their server.

Solution to Itching red legs

Is the area between your legs itching so much that you feel like scratching it like a mad bull. Are you seeing a red patch growing in the affected area which makes you scratch it like a lunatic person. Then you have come to the right place as I had faced the same problem a few days ago and have now overcome this terrible itch-ache which made the area between my legs red and moist. Let me first tell you how this problem arises and who face these problems the most.

You must have observed that the itching red area is usually very moist. The reason is quite simple. Due to some reason the temperature of the area between your legs gets very hot and hence your sweat glands sweat heavily in order to bring the temperature of the hot skin to normal. As this area becomes warm and moist with your sweat, its chances of getting infected with bacteria increases a lot. Such red itchy patches are also reported to be growing in areas like armpits and the waist (which also sweat a lot). Hence a few people got rid of their itchy red skin by using antibiotics as suggested by their doctors. Whereas a few tried using lotion in the affected area only to worsen the case and scratch more than what they often did. People who run a lot or play a lot or work at places where they sweat a lot (gymnasiums) get these problems usually. First of all your sweating has to be controlled. Gym trainers cannot avoid jogging as it was a main part of their cardio exercises. Similarly there are many people who cannot avoid their work till the red itchy skin gets healed. I warn you at the beginning itself: do not use deodorants or body odors at such areas. Doing so might make the condition become even more severe or in some cases complicated enough to confuse your doctor. Do not stop bathing. In fact bathing is required to kill the bacterial infection. Use a good soap which has natural ingredients more and less chemicals. Avoid cosmetic soaps while bathing. If possible use neem soaps or good antiseptic soaps which can kill bacterial infections. If all the above remedies are found to be not-so-effective you should go for the village remedy: Dip neem leaves in hot boiling water and leave it for some time till the juice of neem leaves gets mixed with the water. And now bathe in this antiseptic water (mix fresh water to make it luke-warm). This is the best antiseptic natural remedy to get rid of the dirty red and itchy skin. It was quite surprising to see that most of the doctors are unaware of such problems and are left with blank looks on their faces once they hear such problems. Some doctors told their patients to leave the infection die its natural death. But the torture is so tremendous that you cannot bear even a single more day with it.

As far as clothing habit is concerned: avoid wearing jeans under all circumstances. Wear clothes which will help circulate air throughout your body and keep you dry and clean as far as possible. Avoid underwears with tight straps. As the skin is very delicate, these straps rub hard against them and create more bruises and infections. Avoid wearing tight clothes. Wear loose cotton clothes as far as possible. Always wear a banyan. This soaks the sweat and keeps your body dry. Avoid tight underwears under all conditions.

Eat healthy food. Avoid sweets till the itching stops. Sweets attract more bacteria and make you sweat a lot if the energy consumed is more that the energy requirement of your body. Avoid eating filthy and junk roadside food. Piss and poop regularly. Drink lots of water and urinate a lot. This helps you filter off the bacterias from your body. The patch becomes extremely red and looks very horrifying after a few days. Do not panic. A few antiseptic creams will help. But again creams create the problem of excessive sweating. So use antiseptic powders instead. Powders have proved to be very effective in my case.
